Once again dude, "dual use" items are NOT WEAPONS!!!! Can't you get that through your skull. ??

You can have a ship load of dual use items and you can't take them off the ship and use them in battle. They require lots of deliberate alternation and modification to become weapons. Remember, that virtually every fertilizer you purchase at Tractor Supply can quite easily be used to make highly effective bombs.

That doesn't make Tractor Supply an arms dealer.

As for the biological samples like anthrax. During this era, ANYONE in or out of the U.S. could get disease samples (shipped by the U.S. mail no less) by just sending in the right paperwork.

You think it is quicker to fight with restrictive rules of engagement? Lol. It doesn't work.

You made an assertion, I said I've not seen it sourced, you provided one, and it turned out to be totally bogus.

Now, you think I'm responsible to run down your story when you've already failed to do that. In fact, not only have you not been able to fact check your own story, but you've changed your story, to include dual use items. Well, Sarin gas isn't a dual use item. So it seems that your story isn't even what you claimed it was in the first place.

I don't need to challenge any facts because you have not provided a single one, plus, you've changed your story to render it meaningless. Congratulations, you've just wasted everyone's time.

No, I think what you are unable to do is get this through your head, is the problem. "Duel use" means absolutely nothing, when it was confirmed what these chemicals were actually used for. It has been proven from my link that they were used in war time against Iranian troops that we supplied and aided in helping Iraq poison Iranian troops. And no one has proven otherwise.

You do know there is a certain amount of common sense that has to go into every argument right? You do know that aiding your friends to poison a mutual enemy with large quantities of Sarin gas, Anthrax, and Bubonic Plague would be frowned upon in this country, right? Reagan knew that, just as he knew about Iran Contra.

In large quantities? I think not. You have stepped knee deep into an argument where you have nothing to fall back on. When Saddam attacked Iranian troops with chemical weapons, do you really think he did it with a disease sample through the mail? You remember the part where I was reminding you about having a common sense argument? Well this is my common sense argument here.

Is this your idea of entertainment? To embarrass yourself like this? You telling me my link is bogus is telling me nothing. You said you would fact check my sources and your only come back is, they are bogus. lol! Game over! You're just wasting my time and yours.

You were the one talking about fact checking me. I never asked you to do a thing until you said you were going to do it. Lol! This is just too fun.
LolX2! I never said Sarin gas was a duel use item, so I haven't a clue of what you are talking about, and neither do you. Give it a rest chief. You're done!

Wow, the entertainment never stops with you. You "don't need to challenge any facts"? Then why did you say you would fact check then? :roflol: It's been real dude, take care.

Saddam Hussein did not attack Iranian troops with biological weapons or disease samples.

He attacked with chemical weapons. Weaponized versions of fully legitimate industrial/agricultural items.

Just what is the matter with you?

And how can you claim with a straight face what "President Reagan knew".

Sure, I'm quite proud of my kill/death ratio in Battlefield 2 and 1942. I spam a lot of grenades and spawn camp, but can hold my own in 1-1 firefights. Just strafe a lot and jump up and down.

Only this time i'll get paid to do it!

I said I would check your sources, and I did, and it turned out to be BS. Now you expect me to research your point, which you failed to research. I think we have a new definition of Chutzpah. You've failed, and now all you're doing is (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about it.

I think you are having a real problem keeping up in this discussion, and focusing on what I am typing. If you go back to my post, you will see that I said chemical weapons, and no where did I suggest that Saddam was using just samples. It's pretty obvious you have lost scope in paying attention to what I am typing here.

Either you need glasses, or you need to ask yourself the same thing.

Evidence is your friend. It alleviates any guess work as to what someone knows.

Now that you've reduced my post down to four words, it's obvious you have no stomach for recognizing the evidence where you planted things I didn't say, and dismissed the things I did say. It's hard to keep those personal attacks in line if you can't read what everyone is typing. I recommend a good pair of glasses.

You are the one making a bunch of illogical and nonsensical evidence. Refusing to listen to reason and failing to provide any actual evidence from real sources.

There were basically no ROEs in Korea, WW2, and WW1 and those wars took years.

Actually there was a massively restrictive Rule of Engagement in Korea.

That is we couldn't interdict Chinese troops before they crossed the border into North Korea. We had to wait until hundreds of thousands of Chinese crossed the Yalu River and then dispersed before engaging them.

ROE is only effective if both parties actually use it. If not, it's a pointless set of standards for the one side following them.

    So race to the bottom?

US troops should engage in the torture and rape of civilians because ISIS does?

Now you're throwing a temper tantrum. My statement is correct. ROE is not useful if one side is not using it. That's a fact.

IE: US troops cannot engage enemy until they see weapons pointed at them.
Taliban- Ok, we will surround your FOB with unarmed men, arm them in the darkness, and then attack at dawn.

    Hate when that happens.

And without that ROE, we'd get what the Soviets did in Afghanistan:

Soldiers killing every military aged male and the entire populace turning against them.

I can't go back in time as the 17 year-old that volunteered and joined the Army. I didn't join as infantry, knowing even then it was too dangerous for me.

I would probably NOW join as something much safer like a M1 Abrams tank crew member, or be a Fobbit working in a safer job away from direct combat. Maybe even join the Coast Guard. That is, don't be drafted into something dangerous.

If the draft had strict rules to it like in the past, then you wouldn't really have an option, right? So I would go, because I wouldn't want to be imprisoned.

It wouldn't apply to me either since I am not between ages 18-25.

Dennis......NDE's by people who have not actually DIED are worthless!!

Now I was CLINICALLY DEAD....but even my experience is WORTHLESS!!!

My Lungs and Heart stopped working which meant I was CLINICALLY DEAD.....but my BRAIN was still functioning and they brought me back.

The people who have ACTUALLY DIED....ie....no Heart or Lung Function....NO BRAINWAVE FUNCTION.....these are people who usually fall through the ice and their body temp. drops so low and their lungs will with ice water....and the Brain Wave Activity....ENDS COMPLETELY.....now those people have DIED!!!

They can be brought back by slowly warming the body up and then by shocking their heart but most have Brain Function Damage from this but SOME DO NOT!!!

It's THOSE PEOPLE....who DIED...COMPLETELY....that you should look into and read about.

Everyone else who has had an NDE....or Near Death Experience....and I am one of them....WERE NOT ACTUALLY DEAD!!!

To be considered.....DEAD....your heart and lungs and brain must stop functioning.

If your lucky and they can bring you back.....then that person is a person to talk to.

Not anyone else who has had an NDE.....because all that is as far as a Medical Term is LOSS OF LUNG AND HEART CAPACITY!!!

It's when your BRAIN WAVES no longer exist....that you are actually dead!!

If you fall in ice water in the winter.....you can loose brain wave function and still be brought back 15 to 30 minutes later!!

THOSE are the people you want to talk to!!!

I am a lot easier to please because...… I find that NDE accounts...… even if they do not fit the rather strict criteria that you give here have helped me a great deal in rising up out of the ignorance that I was in back in 1990 when I was 31!

Speaking of being drafted vs volunteering............. although I have never volunteered for missions as risky and requiring such rigorous and painful training as you received...… I did volunteer for something kind of scary back in 1990......

In what way(s) are you better than Jesus (if any)?

If you don't accept slavery, like Jesus did, then you are arguably better than Jesus in that way.
Question: in what ways do you feel that you are better than Jesus (if any)?

It was YOUR attitude, not the Military. Killing was never the primary reason for training one how to kill if needed. It is better to subdue your enemy WITHOUT killing if possible.

Where did I get my information? 27 YEARS OF ACTIVE ARMY SERVICE; E-1 to E-7 in less than 8 years in 6 major campaigns in 3 deployments to combat, and years of personal experience dispensing training about rules of engagement.

You probably spent one tour and got off on kicking in doors and shooting anything that moved.

    Thank you cowards they were.
Trained how to kill, not just to kill. IE only as a means to achieve a mission.
Cowardice is a draft dodger! Cowardice is PROACTIVE ACTIONS TO GET OUT OF COMBAT AT THE EXPENSE OF PUTTING SOMEONE ELSE THERE. Being scared is not Cowardice, provided you go anyway.
I served, and I understand the difference between killing when needed and wanton killing like some HOORAA guys, you know, so called bad boys who are proud of killing humans because they can get away with it. Yes, I served, 27 years in the Army, 1 combat tour as a PLT SGT of an Infantry Platoon. I speak from THAT experience. Part of that tour I trained Project Phoenix troops, basically OJT in stealth, overwhelming surprise, and taking village chiefs supporting Charlie, for retraining. We were to kill ONLY if it was necessary. I will tell you first hand, killing humans is a degrading feeling, unless you just love to kill.
That was not the primary mission, which was to take an objective with as little firepower as possible.
Wrong! Anyone not willing to serve his country willingly SHOULD BE THE FIRST ONE DRAFTED, except in the mind of cowards and traitors.

Our country has engaged in immoral wars. War we never needed to be in. Killing that never needed to happen. I or my son would never go in a draft.
