As a 27 year veteran with 2 bronze stars and 2 meritorious service medals, air medal, 6 campaign stars and 3 separate combat tours, one as a Plt Sgt of an Infantry Platoon, I know people like you love the kill, kill, kill crap as a wannabe killer. You are a disservice to any branch in which you were part. I believe you are a coward crowing like a rooster.

 

Why is that? Forget the somewhat ridiculous sports analogies, tell us specifically why the US is indefensible from within its borders, that really makes little sense to me. It might be the case if you were talking about a small country but the bigger countries get the more easy it is to defend them from invasion, as the attacker must "conquer the map", and the USA is the 4th largest country in the world.

Tell us how you would conquer America, if it's so easy.

I was correct when I said the job of a infantryman is to close in with the enemy, by means of fire and manuver, and kill that enemy. Where am I wrong on the job description of a infantryman?
Oh wait, I'm not. Next, my point was to describe how base my job was. I never once said war was awesome, and killing was great. I've never heaped honor on murdering another human. I detest war, and state sponcered violence. I've based this point of view on my experience of doing two deployments to Iraq.

So, now you have some trivial choices to make. You can man up, and apologize for taking my post out of context, and then slandering me. You can tuck tail and try to save face, and never respond again. Or, you can double down on dumb. Either way, I can care less what you think you know about me.
