Did you know Cops have fewer Rights than a regular Joe Q Public ? all it takes is a report, and POW POW POW ! You get suspended pending a full investigation, maybe a week to clear, then it is business as usual... lol

Youre free to marry anyone you like. I saw a guy marry his horse once. But of course, that's not what you are talking about. You are talking about the tax breaks and governmental entitlements of marriage from government. They are not required to exercise ones freedom.

You mean the ones you believe heterosexuals are entitled to simply because they are heterosexual?
Some people marry for reasons besides financial gain - please ignore the conservative icons on their 4th+ marriage.

Nope, anyone of any sexuality was entitled to marry someone of the opposite sex. Their sexual orientation would be irrelevant.

Like I said, anyone is free to marry anyone. No law would stop you from doing so. But you are talking about the tax breaks and governmental entitlements of marriage. Like I said, they aren't required to exercise ones freedom.

I wonder if the horse is still in the honeymoon phase?

Meanwhile- isn't it wonderful that same gender couples are now treated equally to opposite gender couples now when it comes to marriage law?

    - - - Updated - - -

No- you are the one talking about tax breaks and government entitlements.

The couples who fought for legal marriage fought for their right to be treated equally with other couples

    And they won.

    Life is good.

No, we are talking about an adult choosing to marry their partner irregardless of their sex.
People like you also said, "everyone is free to marry someone of their own race".

Luckily your ilk lost, and will continue to do so

I think using discrimination in the law to win respect and dignity for gays, isn't a proper role of government.

You've got it twisted; the issue was one of the law and government not respecting same-sex relationships and according them their due dignity. If someone thinks legal recognition of same-sex marriages is going to persuade the public to treat gay people with respect and dignity, I think they're going to wind up disappointed.

Government doesn't issue licenses to heterosexual couples to impart dignity or respect to heterosexual couples. That would equally be beyond the proper role of government. That's just some (*)(*)(*)(*) the courts dreamed up to rationalize their decision.

Respect and dignity do not appear in the Bill of Rights. Bad choice of words. The correct words are "equal protection under the law."

These are not people I can forget as easily as the MSM and DNC.

2 months prior to the Orlando mass shooting, an Iranian cleric who calls for murdering LGTBs was in Orlando on an Obama Administration VISA - announced on local TV news that he would tell Muslim men at the Orlando Muslim Center to "execute" homosexuals according to the Sharia law. A Muslim of that mosque obeyed and shot 103 people at an Orlando LGTB nightclub, 49 dead. Obama Administration loyalty to Islam is responsible for this mass murder of LGTBs.
