You Carry Every Day. Do You Know What to do if You’re Pulled Over?

I would further add, roll down your window, keep your hands in plain sight on the upper portion of the steering wheel. Instruct the passengers to also put their hands in their laps in plain sight, sit still, and let the driver do the talking. Let the officer take the lead in telling you what he wants you to do. With your hands on the wheel, tell him if you have a license to carry (not required in my Arizona) and where the gun is located in the vehicle and/or on your person. When he asks for your license and registration, tell him where they are located before you move your hands, giving him time to object, if he so wishes. Move slowly to access the documents. It is recommended that you keep your registration and insurance papers in a pouch affixed to your visor, so you are not reaching into a glove compartment that could hold a weapon. If you show him respect, let him know he is in charge, that you want to follow his instructions, then everything should go smoothly.
Do not have the gun exposed or on your lap. That is a quick way to get yourself killed by a cop.

Shock of shocks! The OP is a blatant falsehood and lie. But I suppose that doesn't matter in the never ending campaign to take back the country from Bad Black People. Even dead innocent ones.

We don't know that the cop said that...That's hearsay from his pot smoking GF. The cop said (in is own words) that he asked Castile to put his hands up where the cop could see them, instead he started reaching. Fatal mistake.

So your claims in the OP have been proven bogus so you've moved on to finding a new way to blame the victim

I did not make any bogus claims. The Ramsey Sheriffs Dept. stated they never issued a concealed carry permit to Philando Castile. That was not a bogus or lying statement. They had no records of the permit which did not mean that a permit was issued elsewhere within the county or state. What you are trying to do is false and wrong. I reported what was evident at the time and then reported that evidence to the contrary was found. That my friend is being truthful.

Because some state and cities are not reciprocal throughout the U.S. For example, in New York State a concealed carry permit issued outside of New York city is not valid within NYC. but a CC permit issued within the City of New York is valid throughout the State.

If it wasn't intended to imply he did no have a permit then why even mention it?

Because that was what was reported by the Ramsey Sheriff's Dept. at the time....

The other shoe is dropping in this case:

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/07/another-anti-cop-media-fail-castile-gun-lap-failed-comply-not-move-order/

He was being investigated as an armed robbery suspect when he was pulled over, and had a gun in his lap.
When he violated an order to not move, he was shot.
The media "jumped the gun" here and as a result there are cops dead in Dallas.

Really, according to the lawyer for the police officer involved, the other reason why the guy was stopped was because of a firearm.

That being said, stopping someone because the make and model of the car a person is driving matches a similar car used in a robbery. Still, the police officer at least overreacted or at worst, did not follow the prescribed procedures after learning a person was a registered conceal carry holder and had a firearm on his person.

the other problem is that we have no independent videos or even a body cam to discount either side, including the op-ed written by a person who does not have all the facts and is being extremely disingenuous towards the entire incident.

We don't know that for sure yet.
Hence the need for an investigation before we jump to conclusions.

Sadly, it's too late for jumping to conclusions. The damage is done.

Wrong again and nice try to deflect the issue.... The LEO's stopped the vehicle because of the BOLO and resemblance of the driver. They did not know of the gun until after the stop and after they approached the vehicle. The attorney for Yanez has stated the following:
"Officer Jeronimo Yanez is Mexican not Asian as claimed by Diamond Reynolds."

◾Philando Castile and Diamond Reynolds did not comply with instructions to keep their hands “up, visible and don’t move them”.
◾There was a handgun “visible” on the lap of Philando Castile
◾Officer Yanez reacted to the gun and Philando Castile’s movements.
◾Confirmation again that officer Yanez did pull over Castile and Reynolds as an outcome of Castile fitting the profile from the armed robbery July 2nd.

"Minneapolis attorney Thomas Kelly told The Associated Press on Saturday that St. Anthony Police Officer Jeronimo Yanez was reacting to “the presence of that gun and the display of that gun” when he opened fire on Philando Castile."

    - - - Updated - - -

Again that was not stated by the attorney for Patrolman Yanez.

"St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez was reacting to “the presence of that gun and the display of that gun” when he opened fire on Philando Castile, Minneapolis attorney Thomas Kelly told the Associated Press. He declined to elaborate on how Castile displayed the weapon or what led up to the deadly traffic stop."

Liberals would have you think that Philando Castille was just some innocent altar boy, but in reality, he was just another thug. He was wanted for armed robbery and was being hunted down by the police.

    https://theconservativetreehouse.co...shooting-update-radio-dispatch-and-dash-cams/

Now we know he was carrying around an illegal gun without a permit, and has had over 50 encounters with the police!

Don't let the lieberals tell you otherwise. This was just another thug who got what was coming to him! Praise the cops who put him down!

I stopped reading after discovering that it's not confirmed that this man was the same man who committed armed robbery.

I'm not sure what to believe, but you had me going that this man was a thug. When all we really know is that he matched a description.

Well there were lies told, and maybe the cops had a legitimate reason to stop the car, but this doesn't tell the other side of the story.

Totally different. NYC has a law not to carry, now if I am issued a permit in one county it is good throughout the whole state unless another county specifically has a law stating that I can't carry. Kind of like a state license plate, the county where the plate was issued is usually somewhere on the plate in some states.

So now we abide what The Police Officially declare.
Good thing the Police dint Officially declare that Fat lazy Slug Michael Brown
as he was going after their Police officer and desperately trying to pull his
cop pistol from him after The Gentle Giant boldly walked up to the Police
vehicle cussing obscenities as he stuck his fat colored fists into the vehicle
aimed at the Innocent Police officers head.

And how did she know he had one? Had she actually seen it? Had he just told her he had one?

That was just one reason that was stated to the dispatcher in the alleged transcript of the radio traffic. And I think the color of the skin would have been enough to match it to a black person, the wide-set nose would have been another feature to set them out. Unless of course you are asserting all blacks have wide noses.

We keep hearing he told the cop he had a gun, now who tells someone they have a gun if their intent is to shoot you.

I'm talking about the concealed carry permit. If she claims he told her that is hearsay. Did she ever actually see it? Strange no one has been able to confirm or refute any of this yet.
