No LEGIT source confirms that ANY US groups exported Libyan weapons to Syria or Iraq. If that DID happen.. It would be the CIA, not the Sec State. Generally... we never knew WHO we could trust (except the Kurds)

 

I know a lot about Libya because my family lived across the street from the US Embassy in Tripoli so I have followed news about Libya since Idris was overthrown by Ghaddafi. Take a look at homegrown arms dealers instead of US conspiracies....

 

THAT tale is probably " mostly true" but hard to properly verify. It also does not involve the USA. We do what we do. Independents, the Saudis and whoever else.. do what THEY do. ALL over Africa and the mid east.. are MILLIONS of AK's. They can be bought rather cheap. I'd question any Clainm the Saudis or.. whoever is dealing MISSLES. RPG's.. sure. but serious stuff.. Stingers, anti tank missles.. not likely. NOBODY wants that falling into the wrong hands.

The Saudies, Emirates, Qatar,etc can and do give weapons as they choose.

Will anyone really be shocked if it turns out that Hillary and Obama's grand adventure in Libya that killed 4 Americans involved running arms to AQ and creating ISIS? Hell look at ISIS weaponry and vehicles, and how much of it is American arms and vehicles. And clearly this Administration will not effectively combat them and every terror attack they pull off, even in our homeland, is immediately soft shoed by the Administration.

 

There is NOTHING that has not been said about BENGHAZI. It truly is like being in the Twilight Zone or running into the Thing "That Wouldn't Die" in a dark alley or a very film noir-like version of the "Groundhog Day" movie.

The US embassy was shut down in Tripoli for ten months in 2011.. Remember that the Syrian conflict broke out in March of 2011..

Libyan warlords and all sort of Sudanese arms traffickers were selling weapons to various competing militias in Libya and Syria.. The Emirates were also selling weapons.

The shipments from California were cancelled.

So what were they doing with a CIA Annex in Benghazi? what were doing when this happened?

400 US surface-to-air missiles were 'STOLEN' from Libya during the Benghazi attack and are 'now in the hands of Al Qaeda'.

 

The CIA annex was staffed with translators, linguists, communication officers and analysts. .. and a handful of GRS (supersoldiers who report to the CIA)

They were there to support the Eastern tribes who wanted to restore the Libyan constitution they had under IDRIS... That much is certain.. Buy back Gaddafi's weapons or smuggling weapons to Syria is rumor..
