Is there still a commie threat inside the USA?

I noticed this below in Wiki, it seems there are the equivalent of two Red Army Divisions on American soil and I just wondered if they're operating covertly in positions of influence as schoolteachers, journalists, TV and film moguls, politicians etc, or am I being paranoid?-

Communism decided "if you can't beat em, join em!". Most of its support base are now social Democrats, bureaucrats, or some variety of internationalists.

 

The communist threat sort of died out 25 years ago with the fall of the Soviet Union, although Putin seems to be attempting to put it back together again. According to our glorious leaders, Obama, Kerry, & Clinton, et. al., "climate change is our biggest threat." However, behind that assertion is their ability to control the masses, which actually makes THEM our biggest threat.

You could say that the Soviet Union's Nikita Krrushchev was correct once 50 years ago or so when he said, "we will destroy you from within."

When put into proper perspective, it should be obvious Trump respects and admires the American people, first! The only person Clinton respects and admires is herself and will do or say anything to gain power and money.

Oh, the commies have been here for a long time. Hell, years ago I spent some time at the UoWI, Madison & they had an outreach org there. Same at UoMN & UoMA. How influential they are, who knows, but there's little question they lean toward the "D"'s.

American Communism largely was not a threat to the nation it incorporated socialism, the strength of the markets for non-essential areas and strong labor rights to model an American take on the Communist model largely oppositional to the Chinese and Soviet systems at the time. China got it kind of right now save the lack of flexibility in business and essential freedoms. Picture them now with our essential freedoms and more a "capitalist" market model in areas such as consumer goods and services you would have it right on the money. But the US government lumped all of us together American Communists and other Western Communists with the inferior models we oppose. Marx in many ways had it wrong and in some areas right.

 

Primarily communism is the US resides in the straw-man within conservative brains that they bring out when they want to misrepresent liberals.

Uhhh, except Trump openly admires the "leadership" of authoritarians. Even when he praises American presidents, with the exception of Lincoln, it is in the context of praising their authoritarian efforts -- praising FDR in the context of the Japanese internment camps, praising Andrew Jackson while people are criticizing the trail of tears. It depends whether they've infiltrated into positions of influence in schools and colleges, the media, politics etc where they can spread their propaganda.
The 20,000 are just the official paid-up members, there must be at least double that number of sympathisers.
