Today’s Democrat Party spends an exorbitant amount of time preaching against “hate” and “the politics and policies of hate.” It has seemingly become the central theme of all the party touches. What the Democrats don’t realize is that they have so perfected the repeating of “hate, hate, hate” that their own message is what has done them in.

Since Barack Obama’s election in 2008 the Democrat Party has steadily drifted into this “label them all haters” territory and since that time the party has been absolutely obliterated [http://www.allenbwest.com/derrick-wilburn/thanks-obama-really-mean] at the polls. Democrats have lost the White House, Senate, and House. They now control just 13 state legislatures and Republicans now sleep in 33 governor’s mansions.

Yet even after the election of Donald Trump last week, Democrats continue to dutifully stick to the playbook of calling everyone (but themselves) “filled with hate.” They are name-calling the very people they want to vote for them! How’s that a good strategy?

Hillary Clinton spent the majority of the past year speaking about, running ads about, giving campaign speeches about, and focusing during debates on “Donald Trump and the Republican’s hateful rhetoric.” What Hillary and the Democrats cannot seem to figure out is that they are insulting massive portions of the American electorate by confusing common sense with hate and a rejection of their own dogma.

The vast majority of us Americans can differentiate between the two (common sense and hate). Today’s Democrats seemingly cannot.

Whom did Hillary Clinton choose to share the stage with at the 2016 Democrat National Convention? The mothers of people [http://bluelivesmatter.blue/hillary-invites-mothers-of-criminals-to-speak/] (most of whom were criminals) killed by cops, thus continuing the “guilty until proven innocent” narrative many Dems have branded cops with.

Progressive Socialist Democrats have been completely consumed by elitist arrogance and hatred. They literally didn't even give the slightest thought to the idea that they could lose this election, and so when they did they broke down. The Alinsky playbook doesn't give any thought to changing your own ideas or trying to present yourselves in a better way or to actually listening. It's a plan for war, for destroying the ideological enemy, but as the old saying goes, "No plan of attack survives contact with the enemy."
I've been reading a lot of comments, essays, and opinions of Democrats in the last week. They don't understand why they lost. Unless that changes they're going to keep doubling down on the same failed Alinsky tactics that were so unsuccessful in this election.
The fact is, we are not rid of Obama until Trump takes the oath of office in 63 days. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Obama may not want to go quietly in the end. Just look at all the poison pills he's dropping along the way in his departure tour.
Hillary lost the election because she is actually one of the few people in politics more Deplorable than Donald Trump. By Losing the election, Hillary proved herself irredeemable. Trump didn't win the election as much as Hillary lost the election herself.
I share with America the antipathy felt for 0bama and his failed regime. God smiled down upon us on 8 November and we have another chance to overcome the damage and harm that Liberal Socialism forced upon us during the 0bama regime. We WILL make it! Keep your chin up, my friend. For all that is being said about Trump, he is doing a yeoman's job in choosing his cabinet. I like the people Trump has so far chosen and accepted for key positions and there are more to come.

Democrats and the mainstream media, same thing really, tried to drag this election in the mud and failed spectacularly. If you look at the polls, the media and DNC sham is up.

Oh I see. And your view is that the EC voters selected Donald because he was such a nice guy. You mean aside from the "Crooked Hillary" and accusing her husband of being a rapist and lying and the false claims she was too ill and the false claims about the emails and on and on?

What this election proved is that the dirtiest player will win.

Who did Hillary choose to share the stage with at the end? Jay Z. This is what he sings about women

You know I thug 'em, (*)(*)(*)(*) 'em, love 'em, leave 'em
‘Cause I don't (*)(*)(*)(*)ing need 'em
Take 'em out the hood, keep 'em looking good
But I don't (*)(*)(*)(*)ing feed 'em
First time they fuss I'm breezin'
    Talking 'bout, "What's the reasons?"
I'm a pimp in every sense of the word
(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), better trust and believe 'em

In the cut where I keep 'em
'Til I need a nut, 'til I need to beat the guts
Then it's "beep beep" and I'm pickin' them up
Let 'em play with the dick in the truck
Many chicks wanna put Jigga's fists in cuffs

Divorce him and split his bucks
Just because you got good head
I'ma break bread, so you can be livin' it up
(*)(*)(*)(*), I part with nothing, y'all be fronting
Me give my heart to a woman?
Not for nothing, never happen; I'll be forever mackin'

Heart cold as assassins, I got no passion, I got no patience
And I hate waitin'; ho, get your ass in and let's ride!

Yea, now Hillary and her big pumpkin is for women

This election is a good thing, now the progs true attitude is revealed for everyone to see.

I bet that if the election were held today after the progs have revealed their true hatred of people, Hilary would lose the popular vote by a landslide.

Yeah, Donald was selected because people figured he was so much a nicer guy than Clinton. I'm sure that's it.

No political party can or has dished out the the kind of hate the Democrat party does day in and day out against entrepreneurs and free spirits. No other fringe group can promote hate like they can.

Hillary spent apparently well over a Billion dollars trying to buy the office of president. The vast number of her TV ads were about spewing hatred and name calling at Trump. And that was totally true of her supporters.

Like it or not, the fact is, the democrat party hijacked by the left, has become the party of hate. Just look at the hate being spewed by the fools rioting in the streets since the election.

Hillary spent two or three times as much as Trump.

That is why we suddenly don't hear anything about the corrupting power of money in politics this time. Money failed to get the corrupt candidate elected.

Policies like putting America back on a track of being exceptional? Policies like securing our borders, our Southern in particular, & enforcing our immigration laws? Polices like ending selling out American self interest for those of countries with a lesser stake in the game?

Hell, even though I didn't vote for the man, I respect his platform.

I didn't bother to read your post.

Stuff cribbed from American Stinker are seldom worth consideration.

Yes, Democrats were done in by the politics of hate.

Donald Trump played to the very worst instincts in American culture.

Small mindedness, ignorance, fearmongering, xenophobia and outright bigotry.

Donald Trump did not sell hope or a positive vision.

He sold fear and promoted bigotry and division.

It and its captured media tried like hell though. Fortunately there is little indication that either the DNC or the Left-controlled media actually realize why things turned out the way they did and so they fully intend to double and triple down on the 'Basket of Deplorables' messaging to the nature . . . further alienating the very base of voters that they need to woo.

America is the greatest nation on God's green earth. The Trump message was negative and included no plan for improvement.

The Obama administration presided over the end of the growth of the undocumented population in America - something that had not happened for decades. Plus, the result of his push for a bi-partisan immigration reform bill passed congress and would have passed the House if Boehner had allowed it to come to a vote. It was especially strong on JOBS and included tens of billions of dollars for border security improvement. It strengthened our visa program, since that's how almost half our undocumented population came here.

The idea that Dems are weak on stopping illegal immigration simply can not be supported. More has been done than ever before, and it came without the help of the GOP congress.
