I don't blame man for climate change, I blame the Sun God. That big burning ball of gas you see everyday, unless you're a liberal snowflake living in mommy's basement or on some college campus.

I was going to use NASA as a source but President Obama politicized NASA and NASA is now in the make Muslims feel good business.

Did you know that Mexican food is a big contributor to green house gasses ? It's true, especially bean burritos.

The next ice age could begin any day.

Next week, next month, next year, it's not a question of if, only when.
One day you'll wake up - or you won't wake up, rather - buried beneath nine stories of snow. It's all part of a dependable, predictable cycle, a natural cycle that returns like clockwork every 11,500 years.

. . And since the last ice age ended almost exactly 11,500 years ago . .

All supported by misrepresented science or just plain junk science.

    Ya know....like claiming CO2 doesn't contain carbon

The mere transition from the present Inter-Glacial Period to the pre-Glacial Period is problematic, since it comes with the price of near-famine conditions.

Study up on it. Once the plant is built there is little cost unlike coal which has to be subsidized to show a profit/

This is the kind of ignorance that defeats any attempt at an honest discussion

I am none of the above. I worked my entire life beginning at age 12. I retired at 62. I spent 18 of those years at hard labor in a foundry. My last job was in a fabrication shop. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. I went to college while working a full time job. It took one chemical formula for me to understand climate change. The sun is not a burning ball of gas it is a nuclear reaction fusing hydrogen atoms forming helium. NASA just launched the most advanced weather satellite ever conceived by man. Today....Sat. November 19...2016.

Of course not. I don't get my information from wiki. I suppose science is not what you follow since you defend the cartoonist from Australia.

    - - - Updated - - -

Not surprised you think Brietnart publishes science after all you defend the cartoonist blog from Australia.

    - - - Updated - - -

LOL, bet you don't even know much about what that represents

    - - - Updated - - -

Sigh, I never said CO2 doesn't contain carbon. I am not surprised you resort to such childishness.

It is not religion it is science. You follow propaganda and use insults and innuendo as rebuttals to firm arguments. You do not address the message you attempt to belittle the messenger. It is a common political ploy used by talk radio and cable news outlets. If that doesn't work you shift off topic. You failed the credibility test for anyone that knows 5th grade science.

The current Western infatuation with CO2 isn't science but politics. If you were more widely read on the science you would understand how much is not understood at this point in time. For instance solar activity has a definite effect on climate. Yet the models do not consider that at all. After all, this western infatuation with CO2 is based on models not on observed science. This last century solar activity has been on the rise and temperatures have corresponded. Solar activity is currently on the wane and solar scientists including the Russian scientist believe it has a larger effect on climate than CO2. Only one model corresponds closer to observe science and that is the Russian model. This was the reason that many did not believe Russia would join the Paris climate agreement but then again that is politics.

I also went to college, always had to hold down a job and guess what, one of those jobs was working in a foundry. It was at H.Kramer & Co. in El Segundo, Ca. It was the second job I had after being discharged from the "Crotch." My first job after returning to the world, I worked on the docks unloading and loading cargo ships as a longshoreman. This was before container ships were the norm.

I couldn't attend college every semester full time, may explain why it took me ten years to earn the BS in engineering.

    Question:
    Isn't helium a gas ?

    Re: My pipe.
    I don't own a pipe.
But did see some soldiers about 47 years ago who didn't have any Zig-Zags or a pipe so they removed the barrel from a shotgun and used as it a pipe.

    Re: Climate change

I'm not a denier, I believe Earth is always going through climate change. But is it man caused ? I would say man might contribute to climate change but it would still be happening if there was no man on Earth.

Can man stop or reverse climate change ? NO.

When an island nation decides they are banning electricity of any kind and all cars and are plowing up their runways, I will believe they are serious about climate change. As is, they just want free crap like everybody else.

Are you aware that because of policies you support 10% of the population has as much wealth as the bottom 90%?

Less then 1% of that national debt is due to foreign aid. Want to guess who got the benefit from the rest of it?

I'm skeptical because Al Gore spends more on electricity per year than a forty hour a week employee earns at $14.50 per hour. What a world.

Conservatives are skeptical of climate change quite simply because they're dogmatically pro-capitalist and have an ideological/partisan aversion to admitting that capitalism inherently suffers from any pernicious tendencies, let alone that it might be causing atmospheric effects that will eventually destroy our civilization.

Does that mean that liberals are not skeptical because they are anti-capitalist? Your post actually displays one of the problems with climate science and that is the politicization of science. I am sure some conservatives are against anything Liberals are for and visa versa but that has nothing to do with science.

I'm sure with the statement that you made that you identify much more with the politics then the diverse arguments of science.
