It's actually been picked up by quite a few news organizations now. Most are shocked CNN would steep so low. Even for a network known for fake news this was a new low. I suspect if anyone doesn't believe it a simple Google search taking no more than 2 seconds of your time would easily prove it.

Sadly no, I don't believe it is absurd when talking about him. I don't expect him to actually seek war, he's not that evil, but I would not be surprised if he starts one through ignorance.
Rather than recognize that over a billion Muslims would be our allies in the war on terrorism he'd rather alienate them which strengthens terrorists. I fear a knee jerk Twitter reaction if a major terrorist attack were to occur.
