I have posted since the early days of Clinton so I have kept track of events for a long time. Before that, I was a political junkie.

But I credit the Democrats nutzo things with forcing me to look up facts. Yes, they said so many wrong things, that given the internet, I had resources to expose their lies.

The clock of fate will run for Trump. Trump can make the Democrats look so flaky they may not only not get more seats, but lose a lot more. Trump has some genuine experts helping him now. Things changed.

 

I'm ambivalent about it. I admit I have felt guilty lately for part of me hoping he will die soon and that is partly motivated by the extreme amount of damage I suspect he will do, which likely would cost more than one life. Not just possible wars, but the damage he will do to our economy with his protectionism. So in a strictly utilitarian way it would be a benefit. Pence would be president, and is pretty conservative, but seems less crazy and ignorant.

On the other hand, as long as it doesn't result in some kind of irreversible damage to our country (who knows?), it would be good for the people who voted for him to see him fail, and that can only happen if he lives.
