They are largeley pro european, but saying they are from left wing is not true. Representant of the french of the foreign are often from the UMP parti which now is named LR. Today, their is a lot of candidates who are against EU, but most of them have zero chances to get to the second round. For the four most popular candidate, two speak about leaving the EU. The first is the far right candidate M Le Pen, the second is JL Melenchon. However Melenchon want to re negociate the european treaties, and if the negociation fails, leaving EU. But both have few chances to be elected.
