4. Assist a new government
5. Depart.

General Franks started the departing after beating Saddam. Events changed so with new Army commanders, they changed.

The war between Sunni and Shia started so our men ended up staying in Iraq longer. But that is not the Bush plan.

Yeah, terrible old John McCain didn't vote for a bill that would have raised premiums by 20%, uninsured 15 million people, and raised the deficit by ending some Obamacare taxes on the rich without any spending cuts. I encourage John McCain to fight for actual fixes to Obamacare that helps lower the cost without uninsuring tens of millions of people or destabilizing the market.

Perish that idea. I fought Democrats daily who wanted war. I kept warning then during Clinton era it would end up in war. They blasted me and said there is no way Iraq would invade us. Sure, but we invaded them.

Obamacare is imploding from within everyone knows that. It has to go. Since they can't seem to get it together for a full repeal, at the least this would have been a good start. That was the plan. Reportedly it would initially raise premiums but that would soon change because insurance companies would start having to compete which would drive prices down. As it is, if nothing's done, there will be considerably more people uninsured than you mentioned.
