So the article starts out with pointing out trump's whackiness?

Ok, another faux journalistic hit piece. Manufactured so faux liberals could post it on forums and talk about it on social media. Clearly it has intent. Not journalism, just more of the faux free press. Or what one should see in the National Enquirer, back when it featured stories like, " I was impregnated by a space alien from Venus".

This is the same stuff thrown at trump since he entered the primaries. Throw the fecal matter, and hope it sticks. Of course it always sticks on the faces of partisan dems, and it was written by a partisan dem, to feed the little piggies their daily dose of slop. Sour slop. Which they are sharing with the maggots.

Perhaps we will get to see the video so we get the whole show. Unless you can trust a democrat? You trust a democrat?

So is it proper journalistic decorum to ask a President about the success of a communist ruler? Was this a verbal shoe instead of a real shoe as was thrown at Pres, Bush? After all here you can ask a president questions, and instead of asking him about how he is doing, they ask about a communist chinese leader? lol I thought the japanese were a very polite and considerate people? Must not have been a japanese asking the question?

So when was a faux liberal so easily embarrassed? Beam me up Scotty.

Wherever it took place, it's wacky, egotistical, stuff.

"President Trump took credit Saturday for stock market gains since his election, telling reporters on Air Force One he's "always been great with money" and he's "always been great with jobs, that's what I do."

Why it matters: These quotes won't age well if the stock market takes a turn for the worse. They also came in response to questions about how Trump wants China, which recently elevated President Xi Jinping to a status not achieved since Mao Zedong, to view the U.S.

Trump's stock market expansion vs. those under Obama and Bush.

    ---

Full test of Trump's answers on the subject below. For context, this starts in response to a question "about Xi's consolidation of power, compared with Trump entering China, with Xi coming off a very successful run":

"Excuse me, so am I. Highest stock market in history, lowest unemployment in 17 years, a military that's rapidly rebuilding, ISIS is virtually defeated in the Middle East. We are coming off some of the strongest numbers we've ever had, and he knows that and he respects that and he's a friend of mine. We're friends.
"Now, with that being said, he represents China, I represent the United States. But we're going in with tremendous strength. We're going in with a stock market that's higher than ever before. We literally Friday closed at the highest point in the history of the stock market. You look at the unemployment numbers—we picked up 5.5 trillion dollars since my election in market value. These are tremendous numbers. Whether it's China or anybody else, these are massive numbers."

It is wacky to the people who have been against him since day one. It was a hit piece the OP. A faux journalist would start is piece off with what this dude wrote. That was my point. It isn't journalism it is an editorial, an opinion piece by a partisan. Yet these pieces are presented as journalism, instead of saying..here is the latest hit piece on trump. By a biased partisan trump hater.

I think his haters are whack jobs. Just as wacky as they accuse trump of being. It is an opinion, like the OP. I don't pretend to be a journalist or masquerade as one as the dude in the OP is apparently trying to do.

nah why would the japanese have any self interest at all in what trump thinks about Xi, particularly since he's made his vision of a new globally dominant china clear to all? are you at all aware of the history between the two? This ain't 1937 and the japanese are well aware.

appropriate? clownishly selfcentred. A puny human in the most churlishly embarrassing fashion, on display for the entire world to see.

No wonder so many are so afraid.

I agree that the implication that donald made this statement in an interview in Japan is false.

But the fact he made the statements appears to be true as it is corroborated by several sources.

There no room in your lives for individualism is there? . The USA needed an economic brain at the helm you got him. You needed someone, anyone that wasnt the email queen Hillary, you needed a president that, if not militarily savvy, listened to his generals and is handling North Korea very well and you needed a non politician that at least tries to fulfill his promises. And so what, he's not your normal regular Mr Nice guy. You cant have everything.

Trump is sick and has early dementia on top of all his personality disorders. Why can't you see what is obvious to the whole world?

"...and the rest of the world" obviously no proof there! In Oz some of us would prefer a decisive prime minister like a Trump. You guys assume too much.

Who is reporting the successes he has outlined?

Every major news organisation, that's who.

    The "whole world"?
Perhaps not everyone has been issued the same rose colored glasses the left's central committee requires it's followers to wear.

I am positive that this will be referred to as "fake" news by the Trump base, so get ready for it. Trump himself will describe it as
"fake", his favorite word. Fact is that we have to get him the hell out of that office before he does something that destroys our nation.
