    Well, nato really doesnt do anything but talk anyways.

    I agree though. There is no need for US troops outside of our embassy anywhere in the world thats not US territory.

    No more troops (or money) in Japan, S. Korea, Europe, or Africa.

    We live in an age where a caucasian male with blue eyes from New Orleans can now identify as a female Filipino. So if Germany doesn't recognize the U.S. as a superpower, we shouldn't be surprised.

    Is Herr Gabriel suggesting Germany, and Europe in general, is going to finally start to shoulder the load of protecting themselves from the East? I doubt it.

    Well Russia would have go through some other nations first. That being said, how pathetic can Republicans be, to suggest we let our allies be overrun, which highlights their ignorance of foreign policy !!!!!!

    World Leaders take their Job seriously.

    When a fellow Leader ( the most powerful Leader of the free world ) haphazardly changes the course of the world and in doing so, destabilizes fragile peace it's becomes apparent you can't rely on him.

    All for a campaign promise that the candidate at the time himself thought he did not have a chance in hell of winning.

    It's all a game to Trump.............

    He's not up to the job......

    we really don't have reason to protect them anymore but we've been paying money to protect people that hate us (europe) for like 60+ years now it's not going to stop any time soon.

    Countries under threat love us. We used to be Western Europe's big brother, so they all love love loved us. Can't find any folks in (what used to be) West Germany who didn't love America 50 years ago.

    But now the Cold War is over. The USSR is no longer a threat on Western Europe's doorstep, so they don't need us anymore. However, you see the new countries on Russia's front line, such as Poland, that loves us.
