    Wonderful! Wonderful! :applause:

Moi has termed himself a "neo-isolationist".
That does not mean being blind to happenings around the world but rather,
not trying to fix everything. And maybe trying to fix nothing is best!

:flagus: should totally withdraw from Europe.
:flagus: presence there just adds to their economy, not ours.
NATO is an archaic agreement no longer valid with the dissolution of the ole USSR.
NATO just sucks the :flagus: tit to make Euros feel more secure. Let Euros pay their bills.

How can Moi's, Neo-Isolationism be a bad thing?

AND it is time to move the U.N. out of :flagus:
I like San Paolo, Brazil as a candidate for a new U.N.
Certainly not Europe, they got theirs in Belgium and how well is that working out? :hmm:
How about sub Sahara Africa, north of South Africa, of course.
I just like San Paolo, Brazil as the site of the 21st Century U.N.
Maybe China, but nothing too close to Peking. How about Chengdu, China.

    Moi :oldman:

    r > g

    Or Calgary, :flagcanada:

I dunno if our popularity with Germany going down should be solely layed at Trumps feet. You sound like liberals here, if they get a cold burger from a fast food restaurant it must be Trumps fault.

If I was Germany I'd trust Russia more than the US simply for the fact that under Obama the we got caught bugging your prime ministers office phone. A head of state! That's seriously fkd up. Just imagine if that happened under Trump.. The sky itself would fall upon us

You mean just imagine if Trump spied on her, or just imagine if he got caught doing so??

Intelligence agencies are intelligence agencies. The staff works there for a long time, I doubt that you can blame one president in person if he did not personally order this. I doubt that Obama did this in person ... not that I do not despise him, but I simply doubt he would have the guts to do so. With regard to the stick in his ass I cannot imagine that he was behind this. Assumed Michelle did not order him to.

Certainly I agree with that, the letter agencies are all up to shenanigans independent of whomever is in the oval office. As is the ridiculously incompetent state department. My point was that I can 100% guarantee that our media would spend weeks blasting Trumps poor leadership if we had been caught bugging Merkel under his watch. Obama? It barely got a few blips.

Not to derail but this Tillersons intent to overhaul the State Dept is so needed. I heard some of those arrogant buffoons past and present leadership during 1A on NPR and the sheer arrogance of the idiots is beyond anything I can recall in recent memory.

Some of the media! Infowars, Brietbart, Gatewaypundit, FOX and plenty of others are still talking about it. Liberally biased media is always going to be aggressive towards a Republican President as conservative biased media is to a Democratic President. It’s part of the growing polarization in America. Death by a thousand cuts.

Not surprising, Europeans on average are much more intelligent and well read than Americans. They speak several languages, engage with other nations constantly and have a firm grasp of history, philosophy, the arts and politics. Americans on the other hand are very insular and on average rarely experience other cultures. When the average Trump supporter sees a Mexican, they recoil in horror. Ask them to learn a second language and they scream "communists", ask them to read a book and they shrug. They elected their own mirror image, Europeans see right through this stuff and unfortunately, Trump and his followers simply prove the American stereotype is pretty accurate.

Europeans are much, much more liberal than Americans. It makes sense that they would view Obama as a kindred spirit and not Trump. Trump is being very successful in achieving his goals. They aren't the kinds of goals Eurpoeans like, however. C'est la vie.

Hated is OK with me. I would prefer feared, however, if I had my choice.

The “basket of deplorables” wear that as a badge of honor. If Europe and others hate us, we’re doing something right! Get them to fear us and even better”

Actually wrong, the far right in europe sees Trump as idiotic and a burden. Im far right. Member in youth organisation if AfD and we must constantly say we are not as idiotic as trump. He appears primitive, stupid, uneducated. His koves damage his own country.

Strange logic. By the way, USSR, including Russia supported the reunification of Germany.

Of course, they had a choice. More that Thatcher and UK were against the destruction of the wall.

Indeed, he has a horrible vocabulary, his spelling is atrocious (though that doesn’t keep him from embarrassing himself with his Twitter feed) he’s terribly inarticulate. And he’s doing anything but making America great again. But we will survive this FM.
