Without looking them up, explain the difference between character and integrity.

I was working on a hypothesis that they are completely different, but now I think integrity is a component of character. I mean "character" in the sense of being upright and morally good. Integrity is a little more elusive.

Why without looking them up? Doesn't the actual definition count?

You start by looking the definition up.

A person of good character has integrity. It's fundamental to good character.

I am not sure about definitions. However, I do know both are completely gone and lacking in modern society.

Character is what makes you what you are as a person. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking.
