Despite the growing mountain of evidence against Trump, Trump Republicans along with Trump himself keep asking where the evidence is. Well, it is hidden in the coffers of the Republican committees investigating the Republican President. No where is that more true than the development today.

Half a dozen Republican leaders, each in charge of major congressional committees, said they would not commit to looking into potential financial connections between the Trump family and Russia.

That is particularly damaging because there are many that believe that the hold Putin has over Trump is a financial one. There’s no doubt that a spider web of connections—some public, some private, some clear, some murky—exists between Trump, his associates and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
    https://www.politico.com/magazine/s...ies-chart-flynn-page-manafort-sessions-214868

An illustration of the problem is provided by Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas. Conaway also illustrated his remarkable ignorance. He said, "I don't see the link at this stage. Deutsche Bank is a German bank — I don't see the nexus." This guy is a congressman? Wow!

Congressman, to understand why this might be important, consider two facts: First, Deutsche Bank was caught red-handed in a money-laundering scheme that involved $10 billion in dirty money from Russian oligarchs, and in 2017 it was forced to pay fines totaling $671 million to New York’s Department of Financial Services, Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority, and the US Federal Reserve. Second, since the 1990s the German financial colossus has been Donald Trump’s personal go-to piggybank, which has supplied Trump and his companies with a staggering $3.5 billion in loans and loan-guarantee agreements since 1998. https://www.thenation.com/article/maxine-waters-connects-the-dots-on-trump-deutsche-bank-and-russia/

Congressman, now do you see the nexus?

Aw, that is alright. We don't need the congressman and his cronies who refuse to do their Constitutional duty. The Congressional committees are supposed to be watchdogs over the executive branch, not allies of the executive branch.

Mueller's probe expanded to look into Trump's finances as far back as July. He has already subpoenaed Deutche Bank.

I can see Trump supporters don't want to get involved in this conversation. I don't blame them. They have questioned why Putin would want Trump to become our President. Because, as Trump has proven, he is incompetent and a jerk, and the money laundering is how Putin controls Trump.

Isn't it strange that Trump refuses to admit that Russia interfered in our election, and he also refuses to take steps to prevent it from happening again. The reason is money laundering.

Bahara has been very helpful in explaining the money laundering to Americans.

    Admiral Rogers just quit

And on the way out has noted that Trump refuses to deal with the Russian cyber attack.

Not ONE meeting of the Principles to direct activities to deal with this

Admiral Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency and commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump had not given him the authority to fight back against Russian attacks on the 2018 U.S. election.

In testimony before a Senate committee, Rogers was asked by Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) about the Department of Defense's ability to respond to cyber attacks from Russia "against our forthcoming elections."

"We have been attacked and there are a lot of us that feel like we are still being attacked and that we're going to be attacked particularly with regard to our elections," Nelson explained. "So, what's the holdup?"

"The challenge for us is right now we have this thing called the law," Rogers replied. "And the legal framework shapes what DOD can and cannot do."

"What do you need as the commander to say go after and punish these guys that are trying to tear apart our critical infrastructure?" Nelson pressed.

"I need a policy decision that indicates that there's specific direction to do that," Rogers said. "The secretary [of defense] would ultimately make a recommendation to the president... and then based on that, we'd be given specific direction and specific authority."

"So you need a direction and specific authority from the White House?" Nelson remarked.

"The president ultimately would make this decision," Rogers stated.

Like many House Repubs he is in the tank for Don. The duplicitous way House Repubs on the Intel Committee have conducted themselves throughout the investigation will go down in history as one of the worst displays of partisan politics since the impeachment of Clinton.

So let me see if I have your pure evil logic together. If you Bank with Deutche Bank one of the biggest first world Bank's in the world that represents probable cause for the government to search through your bank records because some Russians one used bank accounts at Deutche Bank to launder money?

Yep pure evil. And I'm not being hyperbolic. Justice Stevens the liberal lion of the Supreme Court once called Genneral Warrants 'the immediate evils that motivated the framing and adoption of the 4th Amendment'

Funny thing about evil. The people engaging in it seldom realize that what they are doing or advocating is evil. What you are advocating is evil as expressly stated by the Supreme Court.

Thank you. I was going to mention that. Now I don't have to. Much thanks.

This really is incredible. Russia is attacking the very framework of our democracy, free elections, and the President is doing nothing. He won't even admit Russia is attacking us. His last word on the subject was that the idea of Russian interference in our elections is a Democratic hoax.

Trump is not only incompetent and stupid, he is also dangerous. In the meantime he is suggesting action might be taken with North Korea that the world might regret.

“If the sanctions don’t work, we’ll have to go phase two,” Trump said. “Phase two may be a very rough thing, may be very, very unfortunate for the world. But hopefully the sanctions will work.” Jeez!

First, you are taking the Deutche Bank issue out of context. You make the gross assumption that bank is the sole cause for the government search. You fail to mention Trump's ties to Russia. You don't even mention that Trump is keeping his income taxes hidden from public view, the first President in 40 years to do that. That indicates Trump is hiding something. Than there is a ton of evidence against Trump, too extensive for me to go into here. However, I can provide links to that evidence if you ask. Deutche Bank is just a small part of the story.

Second, it is Trump who is engaged in pure evil. By refusing to admit Russia interfered in our election, by refusing to take steps to prevent that from happening again, by refusing to impose the sanctions he signed into law, Trump is threatening the very framework of our government. Free elections is the basis of our democracy, and he is doing nothing. That is pure evil, and you know it. As a Trump supporter you need to transfer that guilt to someone else ... me. I'm just reporting what Trump is doing, or not doing, whichever you prefer. It is Trump who is threatening our democracy.

You did not question a thing I said. Instead, you criticized me, not what I said. That's SOP for Trump supporters when they know the critic is telling the truth.

Adding to Trump's possible guilt for collaborating with the Russians, is his incompetence, total lack of leadership, and the confusing nature of the Trump White House. Time and time again, Trump says one thing and the White House and his advisors say something completely different. This causes confusion on the part of the American people, Congress, and foreign leaders.

One such example is the perplexing situation involving Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner.

Kushner has been stripped of his access to the nation's top secrets after his security clearance was downgraded.

Along with other White House officials who had been operating on interim clearances, Kushner had his access altered last week after chief of staff John Kelly stipulated new changes to the security clearance system.

Aides who previously operated on interim clearances saw their access changed to "secret," a classification for far less sensitive material. It would prevent Kushner from accessing the Presidential Daily Brief, the collection of top secret material prepared for the commander in chief every day.

Supposedly. Kushner's attorney Abbe Lowell wrote: "Those involved in the process again have confirmed that there are dozens of people at Mr. Kushner's level whose process is delayed," Lowell wrote. "No concerns were raised about Mr. Kushner's application. As General Kelly himself said, the new clearance policy will not affect Mr. Kushner's ability to continue to do the very important work he has been assigned by the President."

At the White House on Tuesday, press secretary Sarah Sanders said Kushner's work would continue unabated. "He is a valued member of the team and will continue to do the important work he has been doing since he started in the administration."

No one at the White House and Kushner's lawyer can explain how Kushner can continue his work as the President's senior advisor if he can't access the most sensitive information like PDB and top secret intelligence from the CIA, FBI, and NSA.

There is one possible explanation. All this is smoke and mirrors for the public's consumption produced by our showman President Trump. Just as Trump has ignored his intelligence agencies regarding Russia, he will ignore this in-house procedure created by his chief of staff. After all, who is the boss?

Well, Trump is and laws, procedures, protocols do not mean a thing to him. He breaks them with impunity and his supporters love him for it.

I did. US Cyber Command chief Adm. Mike Rogers told lawmakers on Tuesday that he has not been granted the authority by President Donald Trump to disrupt Russian election hacking operations where they originate. Asked by Democratic Sen. Jack Reed if he has been directed by the President, through the defense secretary, to confront Russian cyber operators at the source, Rogers said "no I have not"

"We have not opted to engage in some of the same behaviors we are seeing" with regards to Russia.

"It has not changed the calculus or the behavior on behalf of the Russians," Rogers said about the US response to Russia's cyber threat to date.

"They have not paid a price that is sufficient to change their behavior," he added.

That is because Trump has not ordered Rogers to engage the Russians.

Do you still have any questions about what Rogers said?

Mueller needs to look into all of Trump's Tax, Financial, and Real Estate records (going back several decades).

After Mueller goes over all of that (no stone unturned) and finds nothing, Trump could be off the hook.

    And http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/mueller-closing-in-on-trump-in-russian-probe.513506/

Proof is what is presented at trial. I have provided a "mountain of evidence" for a trial. I'll leave the proof up to Mueller.

What ties to Russia? Okay he is a developer who banks with Deutsche Bank. That is not probable cause.

Almost all people don't release their tax returns. Being a developer who may have biusniuss in Russia and banks at Deutche Bank and hast released their tax returns is not probable cause.

    That is not probable cause.

    How convenient.

Okay let's ask the question. So What? Even if you were 100% correct that still dies not justify throwing the 4th Amendment in the trash just to get Trump.

Evil does not justify your own evil.

I criticized you for wanting a general warrant which is the specific evil the 4th Amendment was drafted and adopted to stop.

This is a tiny fraction of that evidence. Please explain which of these are "baseless accusations" and why they are baseless. Trump apologists seem to think just saying it makes it so because they rarely provide substantiation for their statements.

Okay, have at it. Explain to us what is false.

In an early morning tweet, Trump wrote, "The Russian “hoax” was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia - it never did!"

Hu-hum, another lie from our President.

His attorney general met with the Russian ambassador twice, once in his office, then lied about it to the Senate committee confirming him.

His former NSA who he fired, Mike Flynn, made a deal with the Russian ambassador during the transition period, meaning Flynn was a private citizen at the time. The deal conflicted with official U.S. policy with a hostile power that had interfered in our elections.

Trump's son, son-in-law, and campaign manager met with four Russian operatives at Trump's home, Trump Tower, in June of 2016.

Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has had multiple dealings with the Kremlin and he has been indicted for doing so.

One of Trump's senior advisors during the campaign, Rick Gates, has had multiple dealings with the Kremlin and he has been indicted for doing so. Gates will plead guilty and will cooperate with Mueller.

Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has had so many dealings with the Russians, at least 100, that he has failed to properly fill out the forms required for a security clearance. Serious questions are swirling around Kushner’s security clearance — which is still pending more than a year after he entered the White House. By some strange coincidence, Kushner requests more intelligence information than any other White House official. I don't believe in coincidences.

A member of Trump's team, George Papadopulous, lied to the FBI about his Russian involvement. He has pleaded guilty and has been cooperating with Mueller since July.

Another member of Trump's team, Carter Page, admitted to be an advisor to the Kremlin in 2013. On November 2, 2017, Page testified to the U.S. House Intelligence Committee that he had informed Jeff Sessions, Corey Lewandowski, Hope Hicks and other Trump campaign officials that he was traveling to Russia to give a speech in July 2016. Page testified that he had met with Russian government officials during this trip and had sent a post-meeting report via email to members of the Trump campaign.

In all, nine members of Trump's team, either close associates or members of his family, have had connections to Russia.

Trump refuses to acknowledge Russia interfered in our election.

Trump refuses to take steps to prevent Russia from interfering in future elections.

Trump refuses to impose sanctions against Russia that were authorized by a bill he signed in August. The sanctions were caused by Russia's interference in our election.

Trump had this to say about Putin during the election campaign. "I'm saying that I'd possibly have a good relationship. He's been very nice to me."

(Reuters) - New York’s state banking regulator asked Deutsche Bank AG and two other lenders for information on their relationships with U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and his family’s real estate company, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters.

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) made the requests to Deutsche Bank, Signature Bank and New York Community Bank for information on loans and other financial arrangements including lines of credit and loan guarantees a week ago, the person said.

The regulator also asked for information related to other family members, the person said.

DFS, Deutsche Bank and Signature Bank declined to comment. New York Community Bank had no immediate comment.
