CBS San Francisco says: "A three-judge panel with Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with Trump supporter Juan Hernandez, the lead plaintiff in a federal lawsuit against the San Jose Police Department. “San Jose PD lead us right into the protesters,” said Hernandez. “Someone needs to be held accountable for what happened. So, it’s awesome — a huge step — to know that they will be held accountable for the lack of planning and the stand-down order that they received.” The lawsuit claims San Jose police funneled Trump supporters leaving a June 2016 rally right into the middle of a crowd of counter-protesters, who quickly surrounded and attacked them.

Well this is kind of a weird decision. On one side they are giving a Trump supporter a win, on the other they are going after the police as we would expect most liberals to do.
Of course not, but I hardly doubt that in their morning briefing they came up with a plan to funnel Trump supports into protestors. They probably just lost control and it happened that way.
Well in this case the police may have been wiling tools in the violence. Juan Hernandez, the lead plaintiff, said the San Jose PD lead them right into the protesters and blocked off other exits, like forcing them into a funnel
Most of the individual cops accused of killing black suspects have been found innocent If the liberal democrats running the big cities are discriminating against conservatives they should have their day in court also
Well all the court said was that the case could go forward, it was a procedural thing, they didn't assign fault to anyone. Even the article states that the police simply lost control of the situation so I don't think they were funneling anyone anywhere, that would take good control to do that. It looks to me like they simply weren't prepared for the numbers and one of their fears was inciting the crowd even more so they just sort of backed off. Heck, during the LA riots it was so bad that the police just left.

No offense but "attendees" don't usually know police protocol or the bigger picture either. But until it goes to court we won't have the full picture so no reason to speculate now.
