The racist Sarah Jeong is why we should quit protecting the rest of the world

Recent New York Times hire and South Korean immigrant Sarah Jeong has been discovered to have been going on racist diatribes on twitter.

Her racism and hatred of white people is why the U.S. should discontinue offering its defense umbrella across the world.

The U.S. taxpayer is financing European health care and other socialist programs, propping up the South Korean and Japanese economies and provide for other countries' defense needs.

The racist Sarah Jeong is not currently living under communism because more than 35,000 of the white men she hates died in order to allow her to grow up in a democracy and later immigrate to their country.

Our culture and society would have been much better off with those 35,000 white men rather than one ungrateful, racist Korean...

 

She cannot be racist, she's NOT white!

 

We should give that nation to our new friends, North Korea and Russia.

 

I'm all about free speech but the pass that she gets from the hard left is quite astounding.

 

Perhaps we should simply let South Korea fend for themselves instead of forcing U.S. taxpayers help pay for their defense? Them along with Japan, Europe, Saudi Arabia and Israel, among others.

Why would this be a bad thing?

Did we sacrifice 35,000 white American men simply to allow a racist Korean immigrant to spread her hate of white people on the pages of the New York Times?

 

Jeong makes a great argument via her twitter feed that we should shut off all immigration.

 

Jeong's hatred of men including her father is evil.

But Korea has little to think White America for. USA inflicted a genocide on Korea during the Korean War.

 

Korea has nothing to do with this one woman.

 

Definitely. Conservatives who blame a whole race for acts of one person are as bad as Liberals who blame all men for the crimes of some.

But isn't the irony of a racist Korean who hates white men simply delicious when one considers that this woman would have been raised in a patriarchal, totalitarian and repressive culture if not for the sacrifices of so many white men?

 

We sacrificed 33,643 American Soldiers not white men.

 

As a Veteran, I understand your point and agree that to soldiers, race is not nearly as important as blood type.
Ms. Jeong, however is the racist who is vilifying a specific race & gender many of whose members died for her freedom to berate & insult them.

Thousands of African American and Jewish American soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice in Korea and Vietnam.

 

Quite wrong.

The communists inflicted the genocide. The USA tried to stop it with less than satisfactory results.

 

To a large extent, however the role of USA in Korea and Vietnam was not the best. USA inflicted about a million civilian losses on North Korea and about a million civilian losses on Southeast Asia.

 

Both sides were guilty of excesses, but USA was much worse.

Definitely, many African Americans, Latino Americans, American Indians sacrificed their lives for USA in an era when there was systematic racism against them even worse then now.

 

No, that's a big lie put forth by a pack of butthurt white racists, to excuse their ongoing racism.

What Jeong did was parrot white racist diatribes with certain words replaced. It was very obvious satire, mocking white racist scumbags by tossing their own words back at them, and it's blatantly dishonest to pretend it wasn't satire. Thus, it's the tactic the right has chosen.

A non-racist would be attacking the same racists that Jeong was attacking. Racist-supporters would be defending those racists by attacking Jeong. Make a choice. Support the racists, or support Jeong.

My post had nothing to do with Ms. Jeong and by the way I agree that she said some purely racist things.
My problem was equating to US military to only white men. Not only were black Americans killed, but also Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, well you get my drift.

I agree that the service of ethnic groups & genders other than white men has been monumental. That's why I posted the source citing the contributions of Blacks during the Korean War.
Naturally, I remember from my own military service that America's military is comprised of Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians etc.
I also noted that blood type is more significant than skin color so I, indeed, hope that I've gotten your drift.

Yes, as I noted in Post #23 I am intimately aware that Americans of all backgrounds, religions, & ethnic groups have made & continue to make the ultimate sacrifice around the world.

It is precisely for that reason that the US should reject today's foreign & domestic warmongers so eager to sacrifice American lives in a war with Iran.

I believe that the author of this Thread questions the wisdom of America's "...protecting the World" however America has spent far more blood & resources protecting Israel & fighting wars for Israeli hegemony(1) than it has in Korea.
