Good. Bump stocks only have one useful purpose: making it easier to murder a bunch of unsuspecting people. I'm glad Trump had the balls to stick up to the NRA.
Kind of like closing the barn door when thee horse is already gone. They have allowed these attachments for mass killing to be sold for a full year and still haven't banned them??
Calm down, like 98% of those who own them are peaceful law abiding persons, you're ascribing malicious intent where there is none. Guns are cool, dude. If I could have a 105mm cannon I totally would.
Oh Jesus! So even when Trump does what you guys want you find fault with it. Unbelievable. Get rid of that hate you carry around man!
Paddock was armed with 22 AR's most were equipped with bump stocks. All overheated and jammed on him. The proper way firing a full automatic rifle like a full auto M-16A1 or an assault rifle like the AK-47 are 3 round burst. That's why M-16A2 are only capable of firing 3 round burst. Anything more than 3 round burst you lose fire discipline. A semi auto rifle with a bump stock, not very accurate. But what are they going to do, throw me in jail for having belt loops on the levis ? For the Alpha males and Alpha gals, a bump fire virgin.
It's been WAY more than a year, and the ATF gave them a thumbs up. It's just the general public didn't know they existed, because the reality is in a tactical situation (which includes committing a crime with one), they're useless. They're nothing more than range toys that lets you go through a lot of $ in ammo in a very short amount of time. While I myself lack the skills to do so, it's possible to "bump fire" using nothing but a stock weapon. Or a rubber band or belt loop. And banning them is highly Constitutionally questionable, ESPECIALLY if no compensation is offered, which so far has been what I've been made aware of. In the meantime, it's putting hundreds, if not thousands of people out of work, and depriving individuals of their Constitutional Rights for no purpose whatsoever.
Lets end cultural-marxism PC revisionist history. It was Obama's ATF who approved of the bump stock. A bump stock or using a belt loop on your pants or a rubber band just makes a semi auto rifle to appear it's fireing full automatic but its not. The trigger finger is still firing one round at a time. Notice: Democratic Clown Feinstein calls the semi automatic rifle with a bump stock an "automatic weapon." Republicans being more knowledgeable and higher up on the IQ pecking order stick to the facts, semi-automatic weapons that simulate automatic fire.
Yeah, but there are plenty out there who just want to shoot 1.25L bottles of coke really fast. What percentage of bump stock owners use them for violent purposes? All I'm saying is that they have more uses than mass murder, given that the vast, vast, >99% majority use them for recreation.
You can, if you got the bucks. 155mm http://ww2live.com/en/content/world-war-2-sale-extremely-rare-heavy-towed-howitzer-155mm-1944 105mm on this page along with some other cool toys. http://www.milweb.net/classifieds.php?type=6
I'm not American. I would however still like a big ass cannon. The closest I can get is .50 caliber. .338 practically.
Not even a 20mm? http://www.us-shooter.com/20mm-vulcan-bolt-action-rifle/ Maybe a black powder cannon is in your future? Or how about a bowling ball mortar?
I dont have a bumpstock The problem with banning them is that it will not prevent a single mass shooting Even if they had never existed the crazy guy in Las. Vegas could still have done what he did and likely killed just as many people
There are no evil people. Just stupid people. If you're shooting into a crowd of people you don't really need fire discipline because you're not aiming at any particular person.
Cereal? No evil people? Does that mean there are no good people either? So you think trump is an idiot but not a bad person? No evil people at the NRA?
