    Vegetables have feelings too?

Geez, it's not like they were feeding a live puppy to a turtle.

    Dangerous to whom?

Generally speaking, I'd go with the scoped mini-14 as nothing beats a sniper for 'dangerous'. The best offense is the one that kills the enemy before they know you exist... XD

good call. however, target #1 was taken apart by the ar, and target #2 obliterated by the lowly 12-ga. remington shotgun. you never hear anti gunners screaming about banning shotguns but we illustrated here the absolute devastating power of a firearm you can buy at any walmart. obviously range is an issue, but for most situations the shotgun is an extremely effective offensive and defensive weapon.

You may have reached the end of its dialogue tree, and its programming wasn’t sure how to process the information given. So it spat out unrelated nonsense.

It's just childish, out of control, wasteful, and an improper use of firearms.

For more mature gun owners who still want to have fun, there's this:

My wife and I like to do that at the range. They have a target with 2 identical battleship configurations. We take turns shooting at each other's targets until someone has sunk all of the others ships

But we usually go out back in November and "dispose" of my wife's Halloween pumpkins with the 12 ga and then mulch it in with the riding mower. The chickens like the leftovers.

That AR pistol looks like fun. The .22 ammo would make it cheap fun too.

Mini 14 or 30? I have a Mini 14 with a decent Bushnell scope. I prefer the weight of the Ruger Mini platforms over the AR platform. night and day. (but prefer the magazine receiver system on the ARs). I also have an older Winchester 1200 that looks very similar to your shotgun....the only difference I can make out is the location and number of trigger mechanism retaining pins.

Have always said that gun grabbers should be happy that the AR15 is not banned and "looks meaner" because far more carnage can be accomplished in packed quarters with a lowly pump shotgun than most anything. Add certain simple modifications to the shotgun and it gets even more grisly. OTOH, the Las Vegas shootings couldn't have been accomplished in the way they were without rifles. Point is made, though, let's all hope crazies don't switch over to using shotguns of a sudden when doing their close quarters shootings.

My primary home protection weapon is a Mossy 500 with an extended tube, 18" barrel and pistol grip.
not only will I not miss my intended target no matter how groggy or amped I may be, I may not have to discharge it because the sound of racking it is so intimidating....I would imagine many would-be home invaders have tucked tail and run after hearing the sound of a pump shotgun cycle in a round
