    For two years, the elected Republican Congressional majority had recognized that his "big, beautiful wall!" that Cry Baby Donny repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for was not a national priority, and was and is something most Americans do not want.

    His suddenly shrieking "EMERGENCY!", being "proud" to shut down the government, and lying about his fantasy wall is not about to get him one.

    Boo hoo.

    No one said there are no problems, but is a wall going to solve the problem or are there many other upgrades that are needed more.

    He was going to sign the bill that was presented to him and then he caught flack from Limpbaugh, Coulter, etc. and switched out.

    Yep - they are flowing from the south...through ports of entry, as has been reported by the DEA. A wall won't address that fact.

    Can anyone explain to me the purpose of last night's address? There was no new information - these are the same talking points that were used in his cross country campaign. So, aside from shaming Schumer and Pelosi, why did he go on tv?

    So I guess every illegal immigrant carries a cutting torch and chain? That's like saying "I can turn this blue house white with a can of white paint and a paintbrush". No ****. So yeah, the one guy that brings his cutting torch gets through, but is then apprehended by patrols, and the hole is sealed up. Menawhile, a **** ton of other immigrants are deterred.

    As far as only 6 being on the watchlist, those are only the 6 we know about. And it only takes one to cause a disaster.

    Democrats are wrong. They know it, America knows it. They just can't bring themselves to let Trump be responsible for a good thing for this country.

    Upgrades are also in the Homeland Security budget along with many other things. Since the wall is over 90% effective, why not build it?

    What does this have to do with a wall? No democrats didn't say that. They said Kim Jung Un was not going to denuclearize and Trumps claims that he was were false... Guess what. Trump is again wrong, North Korea has not denuclearized. We all can't sleep better at night. And not matter how many times Trump praises Kim Jung Un and says he loves him, he is still an evil dictator that kills his own people.

    And the dumbest political consultants on the planet convinced them to not support trump

    So they cowered in a corner sucking their thumbs while trump battled for the wall

    All it takes is a ladder... You don't think there will be smugglers with ladders? Here is a fact, not one single terrorist attack would have been prevented by a 100% effective wall, and a wall is not 100% effective, it is not effective at all. This "wall" is just a massive expensibe boondoggle to stroke Trumps ego and use taxpayer money to cover for his lies.... Remember, Mexico is paying for this wall.

    So, you would rather Trump do nothing? Or maybe invade? I think he is doing what he can without causing the situation to get worse, and is doing a good job. Of course, dems will never admit that. If Trump is not performing at miraculous levels, they scream "LIAR!!!". I would rather have an optimistic, confident leader, than one who says... "well, gosh guys, Kim will never denuclearize, so I'll just cower here in the corner."

    It sure as hell will make it harder for Illegals to just wander across the border. Add to the physical wall sensors, and patrols, and it is far more effective than wide open terrain. Only an idiot would say it has zero effect.

    I expect him to let the DP simmer in the shutdown for quite a while before declaring an national emergency.
