My premise that Trump is a racist is the racist things that he's done and doesn't deny doing.

-He refused to rent apartments to minorities and when asked about it in one of the debates with Hillary, he gloated that he was able to settle the resulting lawsuit.

-He said he saw thousands of Arabs celebrating 9-11 in New Jersey, which is a lie, that never happened.

-He publicly referred to a former Latina contestant in one of his pageants as 'Little Miss Housekeeping'

I've not spent any of my time reading the manifesto. My point about Trump emboldening racists doesn't depend on this particular event. I've seen enough videos of Trump supporters being racist while verbally praising Trump to say that there are people in our country doing racist things and feeling emboldened to do so by Trump.

If an individual has not been involuntarily committed to a mental institution, then legally there is no grounds for said individual to be denied a firearms purchase.

 

When the individual was fourteen years of age, he was kicked out of his school when it was learned he was planning to commit a school shooting.

Why exactly more was not done to address the individual in question back then is not known. Nor is there an excuse for such to be ignored by those who were in a position to actually do something about the matter.

 

People are so afraid the government will come and get YOUR gun but have no expectation that the government will take them away from criminals I mean really. And where is the good guy with a gun? The shooters either kill themselves or cops do. Biometrics or a simple number lock system has to happen. Because gun owners need to be responsible for their weapon and if a child uses it you are going to jail. It’s akin to leaving a baby in a hot car just because you forgot still makes you guilty.
