    You and yours were predicting 1/2 a million to 2 million dead. So yeah 40k is not nearly as deadly. As in less than 10% of your predictions, over 90% wrong..

    What are you on about dosages? Let the professionals determine that.

    The negativity you can link to anything associated with Trump in anyway is pathetic and immature.

    The cure rate seems identical to the recovery rate for people with low to medium levels of infection with no major pre existing conditions.

    Based on what? Even the link in the OP states "It’s not clear when the complete study will be made available."

    Oh, and you might have missed it, but there has been a lockdown for several weeks now which might have something to do with the differences in number of deaths. "You and yours" were predicting that there would be more murders by black people in New Orleans in March than the total number of dead in the whole of the US in March.

    Neither of you, I believe, are being honest. There are far too many doctors and patients swearing by it. In fact, the Chinese Health Organization..er...I mean World Health Organization promotes it. But you two, among other Internet medical expert wannabees, sit here and claim you know more than all the experts.. I just don't know how you sleep at night; how you look your loved ones in the face, knowing that your words and actions are giving support and comfort to those who are banning the drugs and, as a result, killing people.

    Define significant. Is it up to you or up to whom to decide what is significant enough, how many lives saved are enough to shut you the hell up? Wouldn't just one be enough? How many lives are you willing to see lost just so you can express your hate for America and its president?

    Many people who are smarter than you and better trained than you and more experienced than you disagree with you.. There's your opinion, and then there are facts.

    Not that there's any indication that the only benefit is in speed of recovery, but what if that was the only benefit? Even that is huge for the planet in reduced risk of exposing others, reduce impact on the medical system, better for the patient in just feeling better... and I could go on.

    So you're challenging the WHO or not? Please be more clear. Of course they need to be criticized on their politicalization and on being China's puppet.. But on this medical issue they're right - or are you saying they're wrong and that you know more than them?

    Nobody ever claimed hydroxychloroquine was a cure. It is a therapy. It improves patients response and recovery.. perhaps mostly just speeding it up, perhaps in some closer to death it turns things around. Perhaps it slows down the damage enough to give the body's own immune system to recover from the shock of the disease.

    There's also the fact that the real experts have recommended using the drug earlier but our medical community is being forced by governors to delay the drug until the conditions are serious or worse... The drug helps but would help far more if Trump haters would get out of the way.

    Brazil did its own study. The study had to be stopped, because 11 patience died of complications due to the drug.

    Highly doubtful, since the drug has been used since the '50s, including many long term patients.

    I doubt it, very small chance for a five day treatment to do what long term use does not.
