There was a one way that could be true.

Can you describe it, define it?

I’ll put you on the list to use the air at the bottom of the tank, water too.

Just ‘cause 2 dogs pooped on the lawn doesn’t mean anyone prefers either.

By the way in nature water is never pure. Never drink down stream from an animal crossing.

How has Trump restricted or attempted to restrict the press? Last I checked, they can still say w/e they want, whether its even true or not. The only difference is now someone with authority calls them on their BS. Thats not a restriction.

You can still get naturally pure air and water up in the mountains. Neither has been pure in the cities for decades before Trump.

    Try again.

I'd rather drink downstream from an animal crossing than drink from the tap in most cities...

...I'd boil it first, of course.

People where infected in the United States before Trump issued his ban. The ban was seen as racist because it only applied to Chinese people. Yet it was non Chinese people traveling through China who brought it to America.

The first confirmed case in Oregon was on February 28. A week later, Kate Brown announced a state of emergency. So even though the surrounding states have had massive outbreaks, Oregon has not. In fact Oregon has been on the downslope of new infections. One is three times more likely to get infected in neighboring Idaho than in Oregon.

If one wants to make a political comparison about it, if one compares Democratic Oregon to Republican Idaho, Republîcanism is literally more deadly than being Democratic. Who would have thought?

And none of all that is any indication that a democrat would have acted any earlier or more effectively than Trump.

I live in Portland Oregon and I rather like the water here. The city owns and protects an entire watershed. Since the Reservoirs are high in the mountains, the system is gravity feed, meaning no pumps are used to maintain pressure, as is the case in flat land areas. They also minimally treat it, using UV rather than chemical sterilization. Kind of the beauty of Portland is that it is upwind from the rest of the country.

It is almost as if you are unaware of the role of the press. Perhaps that is the result of a few decades of right wing rhetoric denigrating it.

The role of the press has always been to keep people informed on what the government is up to. It is a central tenet of Jeffersonian Democracy. That the people be informed. Yet Trump fights back, pretends the reporters are in error, when they are only asking about what Trump said. It just makes Trump look rather childish. Unfortunately, as is evident on this forum, there are a lot of those who prefer the ramblings of Trump, the president of low expectations, over real news. It is why so many are them are convinced that Trump is "winning" the hearts and minds of the good people of these United States.

Of course it does and I guarantee that your city water goes through a filtering process before it hits the tap and hopefully unlike Detroit you don't have lead water pipes.

After all of the TDS press and clickbait fake news it is a wonder that some still think they report facts.

Which is funny as "city" water has always been much better than the well water I deal with now. Don't get me wrong...I still prefer small town rural life over city life...but well water is a pain in the ass to deal with. We need to spend thousands of dollars to fix the iron issue we now have.

One if the vagaries if rate increases is that going from 2 to 3 is a fifty percent increase while going from 100 to 101 is a 1 per cent increase. Me thinks the numbers are lying...

Not a shallow well. We used to have a shallow well which went dry about 5 years ago. Our well is about 140 ft deep. Had "city" water for first 40 years of my life and never had hard water. Well water has cost us a ton of money.

Lots around here have shallow wells because they don’t want to pay to have a deep well drilled. That water is both sulfuric and full of iron. Our city water comes from two sources, well and a canal from upstream White River. One year we had an algae bloom and the water was the color of weak tea.

The deep well cost us about 10K. Sucked paying that much but it's better than running out of water like we did. We were without water for 5 1/2 weeks when our shallow well went dry due to the drought our area experienced that year. We get the iron when it rains as ground water runs into our well. I think they refer to that as 'daylighting'. Right now our water is yellowish brown and tastes and smells like ass.

Name one action that Trump has ever made that supports your contention, ........ and your and your reference's dreams and pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking does not count

Then you should've said Trump is undermining the press, not restricting it.

Still not a violation of any rights. If the press wishes to improve their standing with Americans, they can try to hide their bias better.

My point was I'd rather have a little piss and **** in my water, which is rendered harmless with sufficient boiling, than many of the chemicals municipalities use to treat it.

I got one of those countertop filters and plumbed it into the housewater. Best thing I ever done.
