    It’s not. Federal Government has no responsibilities for policing at the local level anyhow.

    Fact: Biden is for increasing funds.

    sleepy joe wants to take over local police, defund them and redirect rheir budgets. only then after they fall in line will he consider refunding them.

    Not what the compact says. Biden has a plan to make the police forces in the US better. Trunk does not. I await his plan.

    ~ Wallace lost all credibility. Biden used the phrase "redirect" - not "defund" . Same thing - almost a synonym. Trump should call him out and ask for a public correction .

    Why couldn't Trump just say that to his face during the interview?

    Instead, he stopped the interview, demanded to see the Biden-Sanders unity policy proposals and spent several minutes flapping around trying to find the proof of his allegation.

    the gop is the only party that brought one...it did have bipartisan support prior to the vote and dem leadership realizing it would be a win for the gop.

    “Defund” wasn’t the best choice of words for a slogan, though.

    I really doubt the Left, who aren’t even close to being aligned on what to do about police, is going to be able to abolish the police, even if that’s their goal, which I don’t believe.

    Some people are suggesting perhaps police can ditch the military equipment, so we can free up more money for Other, equally important, community services. I think it’s a fair place to start a discussion, or at least it would be if the fake news crews would honestly describe it.
