Yes, but until that he is still President. And if re-elected 4 more years. After that impeachment fiasco I put nothing past the opposition. That includes rigged elections.

How did Trump saying he would willingly leave office if defeated give a shred of credibility to Biden for brining up the fact that Trump might not? WTH are you babbling about? It showed the silliness of Crazy Joes comment.

I’ll take that jumble of nonsense you posted as a yes that you do agree the 2nd Amen is as relevant today as it has ever been. Otherwise It’s almost unintelligible.

What do we do if the democrats insist they were cheated and actually won?So they decide to throw a massive riot, burn the white house and take up residence in the capitol?

That is a far more likely scenario, they have been pulling similar crap for 4 years now. It's what they are doing- and the words mean nothing; it it the actions that tell us how they think and who they are.
How many many more times do they have to demonstrate it before we believe it's true?

Damn, I LOVE what if games. Here's a what if game, what if Biden really goes off the dementia rails before 11/3/2020 does the VP nominee become the President nominee? What then happens to all the early voting and absentee votes? What about debates do we get new ones? Does the election get pushed beyond 11/3/2020? See my WHAT IF game opens up a lot of discussion points based only on the state of Joe Biden's questionable mental acuity versus some conspiracy BS what if theory.

There is no U.S. Constitutional provision whatsoever for a special presidential election.

Ok so the speaker would complete the term of the Vice President who would at his time of death be president?

Mail in voting should require that a photocopy of the voter id card be included. Wait, we don't have those so never mind.

No, the Speaker would fulfil the term of the President and would select a VP.

Would the Speaker be limited in any way in her choice of a VP? Would there need to be a confirmation hearing for example?

What is nonsense? That both sides do it? Or that adding mail ballots makes it easier?

4 million Americans voted by mail in 2016.

    Trump didn't complain.

Vice-president Spiro Agnew resigned his office , so President Nixon nominated Gerald Ford for VP and the Congress confirmed the appointment and Ford became vice-president. Ford was the minority leader in the House and was widely respected.

Ok so the Congress does have to confirm the choice? It would be logical to assume the speaker would have to experience the same process, right?

Once again don't confuse Absentee voting with this mail-in voting canard.

That is correct, the Speaker is put in place by the members of the majority party.
