Do you think he has a chance? Is this an attempt to stall forcing state legislature votes. Would even Republican controlled legislatures go against the popular vote? Or is all this just so Trump can fool himself into believing he didn't lose?
I believe that a recount would help some of his supporters come to terms with the results. I don't believe there is ANYTHING in the world that could convince Trump that he didn't win the election. He is so used to having "yes" men and women and feeds off the outpouring of support from his base that he doesn't see the rest of the people outside that. It's going to hurt for a long time for him.
Biden must be falling over himself to help ensure transparency and confidence in the election processes, after all he says he wants the country united.....(insert giant eyeroll)
Have you heard Biden it anyone in his campaign yelling at the press to stop Rudy's lawsuits or any recounts? I sure as hell haven't. Now why do you think that is if you are to believe they cheated?
I fully support all claims of voter fraud being investigated fully and impartiality with the full costs covered by the accuser if an insignificant amout of fraud is found. I still don’t believe trump supporters with accept it, the fraud investigation will be accused of fraud.
My understanding of the recount process is the accuser has to pay for it out-of-pocket. I'm assuming it's the same for lawsuits claiming fraud. That makes sense since they are the ones making the claim. We would have never-ending demands for recounts if it was on the taxpayer's dime.
They will absolutely find a few thousand votes that were erroneous or cast by the relatives of dead persons but the type of fraud that would cause an election to change course with numbers this significant is almost impossible with the checks and balances in our system. Republicans will absolutely take those dozen instances of fraud and scream massive fraud and show it as reason why mail in ballots should never be allowed again (except for groups that generally vote Republican of course). Democrats should push in congress national mail in voting in the new voting rights act / civil rights act once this fraud BS is over.
because they can't...yell at the press to stop the investigation nor the lawsuits... not because they don't want to
"Some". Getting a judge to tell Pennsylvania to keep doing what they already were doing hardly counts as a win. It depends upon the state. Georgia, for example, does not have such a provision. Georgia's two republican Senators have in my opinion made a bad move by insulting the republican secretary of state there. As it stands now the gap is not close enough for Team Trump to demand a recount and it's only the SoS who can declare a recount. Usually it's not a good plan to insult the one person in a position to help your cause but then it's Team Trump. They don't really believe Trump can win but they hope to seed enough discontent to carry them to 2024.
In the end I think we will still be posting about President Biden until the dementia patient is replaced by the DNC's real intended presidential contender . . . Kamala Harris no later than the end on next year. But I also think that for the next two or three weeks Trump is going to keep Biden's supporters AND their media outets very upset over each and every court challenge. That's nice. These after all are the people who DEMANDED a bogus two and a half years investigation into Trump/Russia and then a faux impeachment over nothing classifiable as a misdemeanor much less a high crime. Then there was all of the torching of cities and violence from their radicals at the three and a half years mark into Trump's term JUST so that the political narrative could be shifted into Dem Party terriroty. So if Trump manages to make these people angry for a while . . . that would be nice.
Want to bet on which ends up with more convictions, the Russia investigation or the vote fraud? Given that Team Trump is claiming massive fraud across several states you should be a sure winner eh?
trump called the recounts when he was president-elect a recount and demanded they stop — can you show anyone doing that of any importance now?
Will Team Trump win any election challenges/recounts? NO! It shows intelligence and maturity to accept defeat and move on. Sadly, Trump doesn't possess these qualities.
Not going to happen. Dem Party politicians and their operatives mostly don't get held to account for anything for any reason . . . ever. Obviously Biden IS going to become president eventually. But Trump is also going to make Biden earn it every step of the way. (Shrug) or at least that's the predictions of this political cynic. It would be funny, though; if Trump managed to pull off a G.W. Bush style come from behind win. I'd howl with laughter.
It really all depends, none of the available answers apply to me. I don't personally expect the result to be overturned but if they find enough irregularities then there is a chance that it will be. If it turns out there was no fraud or irregularities than Trump will look like a massive bellend, if there are then the Democrats and media will look like bellends. It will be extremely interesting to watch it play out I must admit.
I thought Bush won Florida by 500 votes anyway? He didn't come from behind, he just preserved the initial decision and prevented a re-count from occurring?
So far every Judge given these lawsuits with zero evidence have been thrown out of Court. Are these Judges in on this massive Democrat conspiracy too?
he wont win anything that will flip any states. i also dont think SCOTUS will take any of these cases
