I stated the best is yet to come - for us. I could explain why, but I doubt any would believe nor does it matter. There is not only the monstrous Google-Apple-Microsoft-Twitter-Facebook monopoly that are the money powers of the world. They totally control the Internet, the government, the kleptocracy and all media and info outlets. But they are not THE most powerful actually. There are far greater plutocratic powers.

Setting that aside, it is more I don't want to be in the middle of the transition and all the destruction and slaughter of the middle class and any concept of civil, human and individual rights for the ordinary working or retired person. Actually, we are not really in that category in that we have many options others do not have - nor have our survival planning instincts - always functioning under concepts such as:

Fear is worthless, but cautious is always advised. Hope for the best and plan for the worst and you have covered all bases. Never battle or compete on the other sides playing field or by the other sides rules. Don't be in conflicts that you can both prevail in and come out ahead on - and that you want to do. Not afraid to fight. Not too proud to run and hide. Know who your friends are. Build bridges of escape rather than burning them... etc etc.

What we will not do is refuse to accept there has been a total coup in the USA - and not just in terms of elections and democracy, not just all info and news sources - but everything and everyone.

Understand, we can play on the plutocrats team anytime we want to. But don't. We never wanted that. I want to be the person of this song "I live back in the woods you see, my woman and the kids and the dogs and me." We can afford to do that. We live that life - our own huge private woodland Gulf frontage swamp. Way back in there. But we can live that life anywhere if it comes to that and already own location #2 - and it's not here. We could obtain - afford - any others. We have our connections to wealth and power on a professional and personal level.

Our involvement in politics and any of this is over because the battle for democracy and civil, human and individual rights was lost - permanently. We accept that reality. But we'll be better off than ever before. We know how to play all sides or no side. In the final analysis, to us it is singularly about us - nobody and nothing else. Not you. Not them. Not other people. Not ideology. Not the United States. Only about us.

There is no comparison. BLM has bad apples but the idea behind BLM is good. The ultimate goal is just equal treatment from cops. Achieving this hurts NOBODY.

On the other hand the objective of Trumper riot was to kill democracy. This is not a case of having bad apples. Whoever went there to “stop the steal” is bad, and that’s all of them. Had they succeeded, it would be the death of America.

And seeing how those scumbags were treated, it is all the more important to pursue BLM and all the more important that those who involved with storming the capitol get punished hard by law.

I sometimes wonder if BLM had just added, "too," to their moniker, it would have been perceived better.

I suppose not. People who get it, got it right away. People who don't get it, probably never will.

    *yawn*

Spare me the "different treatment" bullshit. No matter how many times you say it. You can't just start history on Jan 1st, 2021. If the police had evacuated everyone and then abandoned the building, you may have an argument.

But they didn't. In fact, they shot an unarmed woman in the chest at point blank range, which, had it been a black woman, I am abso-****ing-lutely sure it'd be the most racist thing to happen since last Tuesday.

Incorrect. I'm not sure what Hannity told you, but the people who broke in and committed crimes, were known members of Proud Boys & Q'Anon. One of them was the Q'Anon Shaman.

I heard that Trump tried to use a Government Twitter and that failed. I believe we're all on Trump. Trump is supposed to be a responsible adult, a Grown man of sorts, But he's acting like a irresponsible child and we don't want a President like that do we? How will we be able to tolerate anymore of his antics. We're to be sick of it.

    We're they?

In case you were wondering, that was the guy in black trying to break the doors directly next to the unarmed woman who was shot in the chest.

Did Don Lemon tell you that?

    I bet he didn't.

I don't care if they are paid. You worry about distancing them to save face. I worry about bringing them to justice.

I would ask for proof but I know you don't have it.

IMO the people outside are just the Lindsey Graham type. The wind wasn't blowing favorable enough for them to also storm in.
