Really? The same Pence that refused to break the law for him who then had a mob of violent goons running around with ropes chanting ''hang Mike Pence''?
The same Mike Pence who had to be rushed away by the security services because Trump set a baying mob on him.
I don't think so. Not after Wednesday.

It's possible Pence would pardon Trump, for the same reason Ford pardoned Nixon - to (in theory) start the healing and get it behind us. But I really don't think Trump would trust him to do so, since in his twisted mind, Pence had betrayed him. I still think Trump will pardon himself )- I've got a bet thudding on it.

I think the most help Trump can expect from Pence right now is the password for his Grindr account so he can carry on communicating with his Proud Boy allies.

It really is a cult, no question about it. No matter how many posts are removed.

    You are wrong, as usual.
Its your side, the right wing that has always attempted to take the high road, remember when you were the 'moral majority' and how you all are soooo much smarter than everyone else because you weren't 'indoctrinated' by the evil liberal education system and how you stood alone and fought back against the 'liberal' professors?
No, you are wrong and you stand corrected.

I said could, not would. But even if Pence did pardon Trump it could only be for federal offenses Trump committed, not state offense and New York is investigating Trump for possible offenses he committed there.

1993-2000 Clinton was impeached for lying while under oath. His lie about not having sex with Monica Lowinski because it was only a bj changed the way teen girls thought of bj's as not being sex. And it was Newt Gingrich's Contract With America https://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h2052.html that resulted in a surplus. Clinton failed to take out Osama bin Laden instead he chose to pass it onto Bush. Yes, Bush was briefed on bin Laden and also failed to take him out. 2009-2016 Obama and his red line backdown approach made him look weak. Poor roll out of Obama care by his health secretary and he did not fire her. While Trump didn't hesitate to fire cabinet members Obama could not bring himself to fire anyone even though some deserved to be fired. Obama's mistake in pulling out troops from Iraq only to later put them back in after ISIS was terrorizing Iraq. Getting the US involved in Syria putting the US between our ally Turkey and Russia. That could have easily started a war with Russia. And let's not forget the glee in Hillary Clinton's eyes when she spoke of exterminating Khadafi, which resulted in providing a safe haven for terrorists groups. And let's not forget Benghazi where a lack of security resulted in the killing of Amb. Stevens. As for 2021-? time will tell how well Biden is able to reunite the country, stop the spread of covid-19 and get the economy back on track, bringing down the deficit all the while dealing with Trumps base, Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, Afghanistan, Syria and dealing with the immigrant situation...Yeah, Biden has his work cutout for him. I do wish him the best of luck.

Sure, and I pointed out unlikely that was.
Trump could have apologised for the part his incendiary words played in Wednesday's shameful events.
Trump could have accepted the result of the elections after all the recounts and failed court cases instead of holding a sore loser rally in Washington on the same day as the EC votes were certified.
Trump could have immediately condoned the violence as soon as it started to happen and called for his goons to stand down instead of watching it unfold for over an hour before making a statement which further emphasised his lie that the election was stolen and called the rioters beautiful people.
Trump could have stuck to being a reality TV star instead of taking a job he was completely unsuited to.

I could play the could game too.
    I think it's a little disingenuous though.

edit. Oh and Trump could have complied with the terms and conditions he agreed to when he signed up for a Twitter account and not had his account suspended.

Clinton's personal failings don't change the fact that the government was humming right along (pun intended)
Ditto Obama, without the personal failings.
Biden will not be able to "reunite" with those that support sedition... maybe try again in 2022... But I suspect he'll still have things humming along by 2023 or so.... That's how long it could take to clean up this mess...

I love how this is playing into the Lefts hands. They have wanted to repeal 230 all along.

Hollywood reacts to Twitter's decision to permanently ban President Trump

Donald Trump's thumbs will not longer be working too hard. On Jan. 8, 2021, Twitter announced that it was permanently banning him from the platform, which has long been his favorite way to communicate. The banning comes days after the outgoing president failed to admonish his supporters as they stormed the Capitol, even telling him he "loved" them. Twitter explained that the "risk of further incitement of violence" was behind the decision. Following the stunning announcement, Hollywood, which is largely liberal, reacted with joy on, well, Twitter. Keep reading to see what they're saying... starting with longtime Twitter savage Chrissy Teigen, who wrote, simply,
