Trump era in Atlantic City to end with a blast Wednesday in implosion of Trump Plaza

I've seen many posters speak about Trump fast and loose abuse of bankruptcy laws, not paying his creditors and shady business practices. At the time, I wondered how much was true but have since come to learn that almost all of it is. I often wonder if things would have turned out differently in 2016 if more of the country knew about his business practices. Regardless, the building is coming down tomorrow.

    What do you think?

Too bad we could not erase his tenure as president with one big explosion.

It is only the symbolic part ending tomorrow.

Biden / Harris is working on it

It is telling that this man has become the symbol of the Republican Party however.

Smart, sell off assets, settle his financial, legal affairs and buy a communications network.

Kinda like had the FBI not tried to hide the fact Joe's son had been under a criminal investigation for years.

Pro tip: Anyone who has made hundreds of millions investing in real estate and businesses is going to do shady ****.

    It's called... business.

Anyone who’s amassed 100s of millions or hit the billion mark, has screwed people over. Go pick any wealthy person and there is a trail of victims he/she screwed to get where they are. To be ignorant of this fact or think Trump is unique, is mind boggling in its naivety. Especially in real estate.

Doesn't excuse Trump but it’s so typical. Your surprise is not genuine.

    Surprise?

    What surprise?

I could have told you everything you needed to know about what kind of man, and what kind of businessman Trump is forty years ago.

I am in the construction industry, and have done business with general contractors, developers and using agencies for that long.

Who and what Trump is, was never a secret to me.

I know the type. The guy who peddles big dreams to investors and the public, who drives the big Mercedes and has a trophy wife.

That guy is never around when you’re bill is 90 days late. Trump never was. We have the records for that.

The real professionals in the development and commercial real estate business don’t want you to know their names. Showboats like Trump are frowned upon and seldom trusted.

Trump pissed away his inheritance. Gradually having to sell pieces of it to pay the lawyers and the settlements on his many failed and broken deals. The Russians saved him from ruin after his second failure in Atlantic City, and they used him as a front man for their money laundering operations.

Repeating the rationalization does not make Trump an honest or honorable man.

The Trump is a scumbag, but every successful person is excuse does not hold water.

It’s also a loser’s way of looking at the world.

Why start with the assumption that you’re being cheated all the time, and then give your fealty to a con man?

That’s fine. Find me a billionaire that didn’t screw people over? Many try to make up for it, it doesn’t erase what they did to get there.

And for a guy that “squandered his inheritance”, seems he made it pretty damn far. You sound jealous.

No, it wouldn't have changed the "minds " of Trump supporters.

The ONLY true thing Trump ever said was that he could shoot someone and his supporters wouldn't care....that's how low they'd sink and he knew it.....so screwing others out of money, screwing the government, cheating, and theft are nothing to him and obviously nothing to his supporters.

Simply a predictable emotional response to propaganda.

Virtually none of that was true but that wont stop the unreasonable from thinking it was.

This type of symbolism really gets the libs going, but nonetheless makes little difference.

He is living well, happily ever after regardless.
