AP: Few AZ voter fraud cases, discrediting Trump’s claims

Where did you get such silly ideas about "most Democrats" from? I've seen nothing from Democrats to warrant that view.

Anyway, you can see the problem with so much partisan misinformation and disinformation in the information ecosystem, and thus why certain hostile foreign regimes have been so active in spreading just that sort of thing here and in other western countries -- it has a large segment of the population completely divorced from reality and very distrusting of their own government, and now thanks to Trump, even of the integrity of our elections, a potentially fatal blow to American democracy if it gets bad enough since such beliefs can easily lead to insurrection, civil war, etc. People are radicalized by lies, by disinformation, not by truth and reason, and it's all too easy to get people to believe falsehoods, because they practically do it to themselves. All the propagandist has to do is come up with something that resonates and blast it out loudly and repeatedly until it takes hold, and the more radicalized the target audience becomes, the easier the process also becomes, since they've already slipped some way down that slope of ignorance, anger, paranoia and, above all, tribalism.

 

My friend group and family. We discussed what would happen and how everyone would feel if large scale fraud was discovered. Everyone agreed that if they did find some it would decimate the Democratic Party and destroy all trust in government — I think that is why the right is wishing they could find even a scant trace of it.

 

Already found in Fulton county and more states will do forensic audits.

I'm not sure most on the Right even want to find actual fraud. I mean, I think most understand very well that there was none, anyway, so they know there is no chance of finding it. They know that their only way forward is to pretend there was and to do what they are doing already, which is write and implement voter suppression laws as a solution to a non-existent problem and, simultaneously, a great big power-grab for their party.

Executed is over the top. Arrested, charged, convicted, sentenced … sure.

If someone interferes in the most important part of our democracy putting someone in office that the people did not elect then they deserve the harshest penalty.

It would take generations for the nation to recover from such a fraud and accept the vote.

Still waiting for Maricopa County to comply with all the subpoena's. They've already been threatenned with arrest at least once by the AZ Senate for failing to do so.

To Senate leaders I say, stop accusing us of not cooperating when we have given you everything qualified auditors would need to do this job.

Finish your audit, release the report, and be prepared to defend it in Court
