depends on his jury, I think some juries would have found Kyle guilty too, it's just luck of the draw often times

 

a more fair comparison is a car trying to run a cop car off the road, tossing things at the cop car, the cop thinks it's a gun shot, the cop shots at the car, kills the passenger - how is that going to play out

 

yep, the driver could actually be charged with murder as if he was trying to run the man and his girlfriend off the road, that could be considered attempted murder with a deadly weapon

would really will depend on the jury he gets too

I wonder if the judge will rule that the dead woman can not be referred to as a victim like Rittenhouse judge?

 

Still seems like a stretch someone just starts yelling the Nword and tries to run you off the road after pulling up next to them at a light? Road rage happens but it’s usually not teens at 1am. It’s stressed out adults in traffic after getting cut off. Someone isn’t telling the whole story. But we’ll see.

That's a load of rubbish! Another car trying to force you off the road is a very dangerous manoeurvre and you cannot just move away as, believe it or not, the other vehicle can move too

Yea right, stop the car at 1am while you are being chased by a "gang" in a truck who have been following you trying to drive you off the road. What a great idea!

 

Passenger's in a vehicle are different, think about it, they have no or little control over the driver. But you think what you want For all you know she was screaming her lungs out for the driver to stop...

 

Look he found another alternative to shooting AIMLESSLY in to a moving vehicle, and he didn't even realize it I bet he has never even shot a handgun while driving a vehicle at say even a stationary target.. You think texting and driving is hard, try sticking your arm out a window and trying to aim and hit something with a weapon "Handgun" left handed if your right or left handed

A more fair comparison is to take the testimony of the victims instead of just the testimony of the accused. Kyle's case was easy because we had the footage from beginning to end. It was a slam dunk case. In this instance, you are using the testimony of the accused and accepting it as gospel truth. That is one hell of the benefit of the doubt.

In what world is opening fire at somebody who threw a beer can at your car rational or defensible? I could maybe buy into self-defense if somebody jumped out of the truck and were advancing on the car. Jesus, they were CHASING Kyle, they were HITTING Kyle and you guys still wanted to convict him. In this case, the accused did not attempt to flee, he just opened up. The cops have more information than me so the charges seem reasonable to me.

I had a similar thing that happened to me at McDonalds a decade ago. I pulled into McDonalds with my 10 year old daughter and a crazy black guy thought I cut him off (he was backing out of a parking space when I drove in). He pulled up beside me at the drive in window and started screaming at me like a madman while I was trying to order. I immediately drove out of the lot and the lunatic began tailing me, honking his horn for several blocks. I picked up a cellphone so he could see it and dialed 911. When he saw me talking to 911 he drove off (I told the 911 operator that the thug had drove off and that was that). This is why I believe the cellphone is sometimes a more powerful self-defense tool than a handgun. By the way, that was the LAST time I ever stopped at a fast food restaurant in the inner city. That event fundamentally changed me and stripped a ton of naivety from my world view. I risked my daughter's life for Big Mac.
