That would solve problems???? Don't ask? Failing to ask the right questions and believe the BS spreaders is how we got in this mess in the first place.

THE LAST THING WE NEED IS A JUSTICE WHO DEFERS TO “EXPERTS”: Ketanji Brown Jackson Can’t Define What A Woman Is: “I’m Not A Biologist”.

"Our system of government requires that the common person be allowed to rule himself. It is sort of anathema to rule by experts. The only system that depends on the rule of experts is the old Soviet system that fancied itself “scientific socialism.”

    She's a woke liar.

Ms Brown is going to be on the supreme court. She might get 20 republican senators to vote for her. That is not the issue.

There are 2 things republicans on the judiciary committee need to accomplish.

    1. To advertise, remind people how horrible democrats were to Trump's nominees by comparison even though they were as qualified or more qualified than this woman.

    2. To advertise how completely idiotic and cancerous this ideology of the democrat party is. Talking about her tolerance and soft attitudes towards sex offenders and perverts is appropriate and asking her to define what is a woman is appropriate. Democrats have been pushing this offensive, immoral racist and anti American ideology and it is only getting worse with time. People need to know that.

Nope. The best answer is: A person who identifies more closely with the roles and other norms applied to adult persons of female gender in a society. Woman is more of a cultural term than a strictly biological one. Though confusion is understandable. Sex is the biological term.

That's a pretty stupid question actually. I hope you weren't trying. Obviously fish. Not all things that fly are birds, and the biological definition of birds is not based upon ability to fly (e.g. ostrich, penguins).

There are some things that can best be understood by being a person of a particular background. I will never fully understand what it's like to be a cop or a spy, a black woman, or a transexual. Having diverse backgrounds on the court, to the extent feasible while maintaining constitutional expertise, makes them better able to understand a variety of perspectives and make better rulings from a more complete understanding of society. I frequently find myself irritated by their lack of understanding of things beyond just legal expertise, e.g. medical issues, but at least they can understand perspectives outside of WASP with diverse backgrounds.

It was a 'gotcha' question and I thought she handled it well.

So if this is a right question… don’t get upset when someone points out it’s a complicated question.

And by that statement, you would think that it's reasonable to put a career criminal on the supreme court because they would have a more comprehensive understanding of crime....
WHY would anybody, even seriously confused as you appear to be, want to muddy the water even further when you can't see into it now? You think more of what doesn't work will produce a different answer?
Wow. The propaganda people have found a lot of fertile fields out there.

It's not a complicated question- and trying to make it so is nothing more than an effort to reduce it to something meaningless. I see that as a fundamental error, deluding ourselves.
There are underlying principles in almost everything. Perceptions that accurately reflect the constant principles of life are generally viable ones, but those who do not are invariably not viable. It may appear so for a while due to distortions we impose on ourselves and the facts, but in the end- the laws of nature invariably rule. The sum of that is that some things are variables, some are not. We can have long and profound discussions about variables- but all we can do is observe and respect principles.... unless we are intentionally deluding ourselves.

Our entire understanding of life and the planet is dependent on keeping our perceptions and choices in tune with the principles.
Man DOES NOT make fundamental principles- nature does that. We can observe them; we can respect them and use them to our benefit, or we can violate them and suffer the consequences... but we cannot alter them.

Ketanji may not be a "biologist"... or, more accurately, a physiologist -- but in high school, was she not required to attend a single class in Biology?

Obviously, this radical-Leftist 'judge' was being deliberately evasive so that she wouldn't risk upsetting her 'woke' hyperliberal colleagues by saying anything that might go against the emerging idiocy that the reality of "gender" as it has been understood for thousands of years is somehow inaccurate.... Too bad for her that by doing that, all this wonderous "Black FEMALE" candidate to the Supreme Court succeeded at was in making a laughable ass out of herself! Pathetic! And this was the BEST that the Biden regime could come up with...?! :roflol:

As an affirmative action candidate, the only thing she brings to the table is her race and her gender, which ironically is “undefinable”.
    Her qualifications are irrelevant.

She brought W’s coffee in for him, so he felt he owed her. At least she had the good sense to withdraw.

Benji Jackson is an embarassment and off-the scale Marxist. Her only saving attribute is that she’ll only be one vote out of nine.

Only to the elderly of the country.
The now and future generation will not simply care.

Trans people who transition are legally the sex they transition to for most of the under 50 crowd.

That fits the biological definition of a natural born male. But not all natural born males are the distinct set of XY.

Why would a woman, need to ask another woman a definition of a woman.
Doesn't the woman asking the question know about herself?
