There are people who can see and feel they should have been born blind. I’m sure their mindset would also show a degree of similarity with blind people. All this does is show it’s a mental problem it doesn’t substantiate that they are opposite sex at all.

Not true. Science says there are two genders. A tiny minority of people are born with characteristics of both. Nevertheless there are only two. Science also says that gender can't be changed. Dissatisfaction with one's gender is a sad state of affairs but it has no effect on gender. That is what science says. Science says nothing about a "spectrum." There are a few people born with characteristics of both genders. The term is hermaphrodite. I assume that is what "intersex" means. If it means something else, only the poster can tell you that.
