Because I live here. In Russia. One small question. Will Europe will heat the premises with dung? Eat branches?

And I don't care if you are scared or not. Maybe people in USSR were not scared either, but they lived in total misery nonetheless and same will be true again. This is the path you have chosen, and that is the path you'll have to travel.

A very controversial statement) You know what's interesting, your gasoline price is rising, but in our country the price of it is falling. As well as for gas. What does this lead to? To reduce the cost of logistics by 1 kg of products. Cost reduction leads to the fact that processed products are cheaper. I'm a farmer, so I know what I'm talking about. And so. I don't see any big problems, because there is no sugar beet in my crop rotation. There are no problems with seeds either. Spare parts? It's more complicated here, since many of us use Massey Ferguson, John Deere and Case. But we'll figure it out. Well, okay, then, I hand over a sunflower, the cost of which I have 228 euros / ton at a price of 619 euros a ton. With this procedure, I have priority for the purchase of sunflower husks after the collapse at a price of 4.76 euros per ton! Without logistics, the price in the EU countries is 50 euros per ton.

Your economy lost its competitiveness. With sanctions and no access to technology, your labor productivity will slide into 1960s, while here it keeps growing. The less productive your workforce, the harder it will be for you to achieve positive economic growth.
You, Russians, will learn some of these valuable lessons very soon. ;)

It is, yes. I wrote figuratively, for a clearer understanding. Let not a week, but within a month these issues will be closed. In Mariupol, I think that 1 week will be enough. Despite the strong fortifications.

And I'm talking to you about only one product. In fact, sunflower and sunflower oil are not prohibited for export. It's just that Russia has increased the export duty. But this is only a sunflower. And guess what, there's still rapeseed. Rapeseed oil is used by European farmers as what? Fuel, my friend. They dilute diesel with it. Therefore, when you drive through European fields, you can feel that the tractor smells of buns. Rapeseed oil is much cheaper than diesel, so Europe can thereby reduce the cost.

Russians are the most peaceful people in the world. Everyone who has a brain knows this.
Putin in December 2021 outlined the requirement for the security of Russia. The West and Ukraine rejected Russia's demands . - Now we see the result. Putin warned, they did not listen to him. Now they have what they have.
And since the West has not agreed with Russia's security demands, I think the Russians will soon put forward new, broader demands.
If you look at the history of Putin's negotiations, you will see a pattern - if you reject his first proposal, then the second proposal will be tougher, the third even tougher ... and so on.
In this case, the second security requirement, as I suppose, can be supplemented by the following points
    1. The Black and Baltic Seas receive the status of countries closed to the navies that are not washed by them, except when the Russian Federation has officially agreed to a visit.
    2. Mutually with the United States, exercises of strategic aviation, as well as surface and submarine fleets carrying strategic and operational-tactical missile weapons closer than 300-500 km from the borders of Russia or the United States, are prohibited.
    3. It is forbidden to deploy bases, strike systems, aviation and fleets of the USA and NATO in Japan and South Korea, Central Asia, Transcaucasia and further along the Russian perimeter.
    4. The Northern Sea Route at the interstate level is recognized as the inland waterway of Russia with all the consequences.
    5. It is prohibited to withdraw any spacecraft carrying weapons of any kind or which themselves can be used as weapons.
    6. Any potentially dual-use centers, including biological laboratories, in any countries bordering Russia can only function if they are fully open to Russian inspectors.
    7. Any weapons, equipment, systems, units or infrastructure that violate paragraphs 1-6 become a legitimate target and their destruction is not a declaration of war between Russia and the US/NATO.
    8. It does not matter whether the contract is signed by the other party or not - for the Russians, its provisions come into force.

Next, my friend. There is such a thing - potash fertilizers. The main supplier is Russia and Belarus. You will not make fertilizers, no BASF, Syngenta and others will help, you will lose productivity. Are you happy? Did you sit here laughing that there is no paper in Russia? So I'll tell you, my friend, there is paper, there is no full volume of sodium chlorate. But only here sodium chlorate is made from table salt, which is a hell of a lot in Russia. But Finland has already begun to declare that the problems begin with them. But you, a ****ing Russophobe, don't realize that everything in the capitalist world is interconnected. So go ahead and write your programs

If you don't see any problems, then good for you. The problems will soon find you even if you keep denying it.

Your economy is going down the toilet and it will affect every person living in that place. Facts and figures have already been provided on this thread.

"We'll see" is the right word.
In 2021, the export of the Russian Federation to the EU is 188 billion $, the import is 94 billion $. Positive balance - 94 billion $.
At the same time, Russia imports mostly non-critical goods, tourism and souvenirs.
The EU imports vital goods from Russia.

The EU's need for Russian gas is 155 billion cubic meters. The US promises an additional 15 billion cubic meters, Qatar - 7-8 billion cubic meters, Azerbaijan - 2 billion cubic meters. Total - 25 billion cubic meters.
    Good luck finding an alternative.
And that's just gas. But there is still oil, timber, nickel....etc.

there were empty dreams that our economy was in ****. That Europe will be full, and you will supply them with your LNG (which, even in theory, will not be enough for such a scale). Only all your empty dreams are completely unfounded

What is happening in Syria is obvious.
    1. Russians in Syria are at the official invitation of the legally elected government of Syria.
    2. All other countries are occupiers and aggressors.

Return to the use of coal is a real option. Coal, a good fuel for power plants.
But do not stop at half measures, you can switch to horse-drawn transport, this will reduce the need for oil, and you can also return to subsistence farming.
I watched a program the day before yesterday from Italy, which was devoted to rising prices. The program showed a woman who lives in a small town near Milan, so she says that she was forced to start cultivating some types of agricultural products in her yard and have chickens. To be able to feed themselves in the event of a deterioration in the situation.
Women are naive. You and I understand that in the event of a real famine, the gangs will take everything from this poor woman.

But the most ridiculous thing about this situation with the deterioration of living standards in the EU is that the EU unreasonably imposed sanctions against Russia. Russians have a saying describing such a case - "I'll frostbite my ears to spite my grandmother."

    1. I’m sure humanity can figure out the fertilizer problem. Send a bunch of cows to a field right before you tear up the ground, if you are desperate.
    2. It’s funny that you call me a Russophobe, especially after your country brainwashed your population into fascist zombies and is bombing civilians in an independent country as we speak. Being a Russian is an embarrassment now. Russian businesses in the west are changing their names to distance themselves from Russia. You and your people support a war of aggression against a weaker state that never posed any danger to you. That’s why many started viewing Russians as disgusting human beings, not capable of independent thought and too afraid to stand up for their own rights. Losers and slaves who prefer to send their own sons into a meat grinder instead of opting to challenge someone who usurped their government and constitution. These losers are too afraid of being hit on their heads by police batons, opting instead to send their sons to be burned alive. These losers and slaves deserve no respect and no mercy.
Sorry for the truth if it hurts your feelings, but it’s still the truth.

Well, then as long as you don't publicly question your country's dictator . . . or walk outside holding a blank piece of paper . . . then you'll probably be fine.

I'm referring to the people in your country who have been detained for holding blank pieces of paper in public. Why would you dictator want to arrest people for that?

I don't know why they went there at all. The problem is that today's young people think in completely different places. They like to look at each other's asses on instagram, talk in strange words (did you know that if I like you, they call you "you're my crush") And if one of these guys had moved from a McDonald's employee to a factory to cook pipes, he would have received more, and would not have stood with an empty poster. You just imagine the level! There wasn 't even enough brains to write something
