The following opinion piece is a product of my long observation of the Democrat Party. I don’t attribute the following to a particular Democrat, liberal, leftist, or progressive.

RELAX DEMOCRAT PARTY – YOU WON

How did you succeed? You infiltrated the mainstream media, higher education, primary education, Hollywood, and you excel at community organizing and propaganda. Much of this success results from promoting and maintaining people’s dependence on the government and massaging the seven deadly sins, especially greed and envy. About 55 percent of American homes have someone who gets free “stuff” from the government, and about 60 percent of Americans get more from the government than they contribute to it. Humor aside, it is hard to vote against Santa Clause.

You create special rights (some downright ridiculous: transgender bathrooms and showers) and giveaways (free college – no, free everything), rendering and maintaining people beholding to you. You divide The People pitting one against another at every possible opportunity and on every conceivable basis fostering resentment, envy, fear, and hate.

To our country’s detriment, you prioritize and pander to illegal immigrants (your present and future voters and contributors). Your positions on illegal immigration and the southern border further demonstrate that when it comes to votes and power, nothing is beyond the pale for you – not even disease, mayhem, smuggling including human trafficking, drugs, gangs, cartels, and yes, murder. It appears that our country and our safety take a back seat to your agenda. For example, your border policies disproportionately disadvantage Black and Hispanic Americans in the job market — the demographics Democrats claim to represent and champion. As is typical of the party, inconvenient facts and reality don’t matter and are ignored, especially regarding this issue.

You demonstrate violently, shut down free expression and call the other side fascists. (In reference to Republicans, I saw a leftist ideologue cite Huey Long’s quote that if fascism ever comes to America, it will be called anti-fascism. What gall!) With no scruples, you ruthlessly and incessantly assail and harass political opponents, as we have seen with President Trump, his administration, and even his family, including his son and unborn grandchild. You try to sway public opinion and destroy people by despicably calling them vicious and unfounded names. And your party’s tenets are love, open-mindedness, and acceptance? Shame!

Democrats portray themselves as the champion of children yet support unrestricted abortion, including partial-birth abortions and remain silent when a living, breathing baby is killed outside the womb. You want to raise boys like girls and girls like boys. Should a young child ask a parent if he or she is a boy or a girl, the left’s preferred answer is the question: what do you feel like? Imagine how confused that child must be as he or she walks away from that conversation. (Isn’t that child abuse?) You favor administering body and life-altering drugs and hormones to children well before their informed years because a parent perceives the child may have gender dysphoria. (Note* There is no good data on the long-term effects of pediatric administration of these drugs and hormones. (Again, isn’t that child abuse?) You succeeded in getting 12-year-olds abortions in school without parental permission or notification when giving 12-year-olds an aspirin requires it. Never mind the danger, injury, illness, and exploitation of children because of our open border. I could go on and on.

You engendered an environment where Democrats can get away with practically anything, and Republicans must fall on their swords for the mere appearance of impropriety. And boy, do you ever hate Jews and Christians! When Christians dare to live their firmly held religious convictions, what do you do? If you can, you destroy their businesses, livelihoods, and lives, then run to a liberal judge who conveniently forgets the first thing mentioned in the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights to the Constitution. (I hope I didn’t offend you too much by mentioning the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.)

You are the champions of hypocrisy. I can’t help wonder if the term “Anti-Christ” is a synecdoche whereby you all are the collective embodiment of Mephistopheles?

There is one ray of light: more and more people are abandoning your party because of your tactics. (Of course, you will be doing everything you can to stop Walk Away. I see in the news that you just did.) So please, keep up your antics and attacks on President Trump and his family. Whatever you do, don’t apologize for your rabbit political BS about the president’s Russian collusion and his obstruction of justice. Stay the course, please.

Yes, the US has slipped towards socialism. We are not a full-blown socialist country yet, but I believe we are over the tipping point. Sure, there are temporary reprieves like the 2016 elections and recent confirmations to the SCOTUS, but they are transient like peaks in a bear market. And I would be remiss if I didn’t give you credit for another accomplishment: rendering right wrong and wrong not only right but estimable.

Sixty years ago, what my grandfather used to say is still true today: one party stinks, and the other one don’t smell so good. But, in my opinion, the Democrat party excels in this regard. We understand that your enemy is western culture and society, and your goal is to dismantle it and rebuild this country into your utopian wet dream: a socialist nation. Some of you now openly endorse socialism for the US. The election of 2022 will be enlightening.

This OP was submitted for your perusal by the lowest of creatures: a Christian, heterosexual, cisvestite, conservative, white male American of European descent working slob.

    Now, say thank you.

IOW, liberals occupy positions requiring higher education, communication skills, creativity, and a concern for communities populated by less fortunate people. Sounds like a fine, patriotic organization.

One of them just here this morning accused conservatives of "wanting to bring back Jim Crow".... Of course he had no evidence, forgetting that his party was the creators of Jim Crow.

I have recently been accused by someone else of "denying racism exist multiple times".....

Of course when asked to pony up even one single example of it no evidence at all was forthcoming. Of course I am not expecting an apology because the sort of person who would apologize for things would not launch such a libelous accusation to begin with devoid of any evidence.

These are just the most recent examples

You forgot the part about 'democracy'.

People want democrats because Democrats give people what they want.

I thought republicans were about 'markets' .

Were just doing what you preach, 'give the people what they want'.

    What do they want?

    They want affordable health care.

    They want affordable mortgages.

They want consumer protections against credit predators.

They want cars that are safe.

they want products that are safe.

they want clean air, water, and land that is protected against corporate exploration and greed.

They want food that won't hurt our babies.

They want fewer monopolies, and more mom and pop enterprizes.

Sorry, it takes a government to do most of these things.

They want everything that republicans hate.

Thanks for the thanks, but unlike you guys, we earned it. Y'all have to cheat to maintain power.

Yes, Democrats won, but because of the one reason – Republicans became a cult with new Messiah – the Orange Jesus who preaches:
Don’t trust judges, don’t trust science, don’t trust your eyes - I am the genius who knows everything about everything - trust me.

Where did you get “about 60 percent of Americans get more from the government than they contribute to it”? From the Orange Jesus sermon?

He probably got it from the fact that more than 40% of the population pays no income tax.

The problem with this among others you mention, is that someone else has to pay for it.

Yes, taxation via the government. That isn't a problem, that's democracy,
you just think it is a problem.

Yeah, that's probably why more people vote for democrats for president than republicans in the last 30 years.

    And your comparison is false.

If one can see past personal interest one should want:

    A stable currency.
    Respected national borders
Schools limited to teaching academic subjects
A manageable government free of corruption
The prospect of not losing more freedoms
    Better control of crime
    Secure elections

I could go on but that will suffice for now.

We pay for roads which we share. We pay for other government services which we share. When someone gets healthcare at a reduced price, someone else is paying for it.

Both parties have contributed to inflation, the problem is the system.
Generalizations, weasel words, are not an argument.
So, no sports? No gym? No auto mechanics? No shop? No 'home economics'? No Theatre?
    Who doesn't want that?
So, you're for abortion? You're for mail in ballots? You're for shorter waiting time on voting day?
You're for not being purged from voter registration rolls because you live in a poor neighborhood? You're for letting mentally ill own a gun? You're for anyone can own a fully automatic machine gun?

In short, what do you mean, exactly? "Weasel words" are not an argument
    (generalizations)
Crime had been in long decline, but hate crimes went up under Trump.
Our elections are as secure as they have ever been. So says the guy in charge. Trump lied.
    Whatever.

A true democracy allows public input to policies and government activities. We have a representative democracy and the representatives are corrupt. Yet the electorate accepts it and re-elects the cretins. I don't think federal government should tax. It should be funded by the states who should do the taxation. The representatives should answer to the states they represent rather than the national public. It would put government closer to the people. That is always a better approach than a distant and unapproachable central government. How government taxes and spends should please nobody.

When people have health care, the nation, as a whole, benefits, which means everyone shares in that benefit to society.

You see, the problem is in your mind.

We do this when we vote.
Weasel words (generalities) /ad homs are not a merit worthy argument. You'll need proof for me to retract my statement.
Weasel words (generalities) / ad homs, are not a merit worthy argument.
Then elect representatives who think as you do. But, that's democracy, you don't always get what you want.
    Ditto above.

Of course. I didn't say otherwise.

I guess it comes from learning english from a weasel.

I'm talking about federal government which does none of those things.

No, it is not a freedom. It is an indulgence.

No, I did mention election security on my list. You missed that apparently.

    Of course.

True I am not for it

No but I also oppose government making that decision. I would accept such a decision from family or medical doctor.

Yes. It is totally impractical but to me it is no more dangerous than any other gun if misused. Any gun can kill effectively if misused.

Sorry you will have to take that up with the weasel that taught me english badly.

I think you made that up. Are hate crimes worse than other crimes? I think all crimes are bad.

Opinions I don't share. Weasel words.

No, the problem is in his understanding that government has no business being in the health care business.

The OP is a good compilation of all the RW paranoia their media spews out and that they lap up.

Or is is jealousy? If the claims are true, the Dems have fought and won every battle and now enjoy leadership positions and pseudo-cons are whining about it.

    Paranoia or jealousy......I'm not sure/

No. There is no failure in my mind. You fail to recognize a simple fact. Affordable health care means someone else is paying for it. It is only affordable for that person because someone else is paying for it. Usually a lot more than would be paid otherwise.
The problem is that the government is not really very efficient at anything and should stay out of any endeavor which can be handled in a better way. Healthcare being one.
