    Which isn’t much. But trump was still a better choice then, Hillary is and was a flaming nightmare.

    she’s still entirely unqualified for the job, the OP for this thread is making a daring attempt at virtue signaling and fall on his face again.

    Barack Can't be VP, because he can't assume the presidency if something should happen to Joe, it would go to the Speaker of the House, and we don't know who that will be in '24.

    not hardly, Trump was the worst President in our lifetimes

    the Clinton years were some good years... sure Bill and Her would have handled the Trump years better than Trump

    Biden can be VP.
    Michelle can be at the top of the ticket.

    that’s an opinion. The dumpster fire that was Hillary was avoided by trump, while I was voting independent. The only good part of the Clinton years was when she **** the **** up.

    anyway, even suggesting that some clown should run the country because they were married to a president is the apex of stupidity.

    While I agree that Michelle is probably the most admired first lady we have had in a long time, I don't think she has any desire to become a candidate herself. So while it may be a flight of fancy, there is nothing that I have seen thus far that makes me think this could be a viable option.

    And how could you forget he, who was the GOP's Great Black Hope, of regaining control, in the Senate: Hershel Walker?

    @Rampart -- I, myself, left Dr. Oz, off the list. But, to be fair, the Dems did have Al Franken, in the Senate-- though he'd been nominated, then elected, because of his ideas, and understanding of issues, not due to his minor celebrity status.

    I like that by half.
    I think the ticket should be Michelle Obama (P) and ... Governor Jared Polis (VP). (Not really tied to Polis, but he's been a great Governor for my State.)

    Trump built a very complicated business empire. He did not make his money as a politician. Anti- Capitolist Democrats would love to twist all of his many tax returns into an attempt to make it look like cheating. That should be left to the IRS. When you have a government that complicates tax code to the highest level, a good businessman takes advantage of every break possible.

    Exactly why Hunter's lap top which was hidden by the media was so important to the 2020 election. We know the "Big Guy" received perks that compromised his governmental position. This statement of yours must only apply to Trump.

    CRT, villainizing parents, and indoctrination in our schools ARE important items. Why do you think we have so many indoctrinated Democrats in higher education?

    Really the one thing they had in common is, the wealth they both possessed did not come from "politics". Sure, their notoriety helped them get elected, but not their lobbying efforts. You fail to mention that.

    Since when has that ever mattered to the left? They like popularity over policies.

    I don't understand your meaning, for the words "but not their lobbying efforts." ???

    As a reminder, it was
    YOU who had claimed that it was Democrats who only cared, that their (at least) Presidential candidates, were celebrities. My post showed how your claim was both vacuous-- since Dems have not ever nominated a celebrity, for President-- and, instead, applicable to your own Party, the Republicans.

    Ronald Reagan, had been a movie star: it had been his career, for many, many years. He had, though, made politics his second career. The same cannot be said for Trump. He was known, mostly, for being a celebrity. And he became the Republican nominee. So your criticism, applies to the GOP, not to Dems.

    You are not being a good reader, or else, not a sincere debater. I explained the reason why anyone, especially one who does business internationally, owes all citizens, if he runs to be our President, this documentation, to show what potential financial conflicts of interest, might exist for them, were they elected. So your excuse making-- that you apparently see it as acceptable for a person to hide from the voters, their financial relationships, since divulging this info would allow Democrats "to twist all of his many tax returns"-- does not apply to my own reason for expecting this, and does not hold water, as a legitimate excuse. Not for nothing-- Trump is the only exception, since this disclosure practice began, who has run for the Presidency, without releasing his tax returns. And there have been rich business people, who have run, in the past: Ross Perot, the Bush Presidents, and in the Primary, Mitt Romney, Pete Dupont, and Michael Bloomberg, to name a few; also Nelson Rockefeller, who not only served as Ford's V.P., but was governor of N.Y., three times ran for the Republican nomination.

    https://www.motherjones.com/politic...his-tax-returns-upping-the-pressure-on-trump/

    https://www.efile.com/historic-1040-income-tax-returns-of-us-presidents-and-candidates/

    <Snip>
    Traditionally, presidents of the United States make their tax returns a matter of financial disclosure and public record. However, the practice of releasing returns as president or when running for office didn't become commonplace until the late 1960's. In the run-up to the 1968 presidential election, Republican candidate George Romney (the governor of Michigan at the time) released 12 years of his returns covering the period from 1955-1966. This set the precedent for future presidential candidates to release their tax returns. Almost every president since Richard Nixon has made their tax returns public; the only exceptions are Donald Trump and Gerald Ford.

    <End>

    Could your double standard, be any more hypocritical? How can you possibly know what is in Trump's returns? Since you can't-- how do you know that what Trump had concealed, would not have been "important to the 2020 election?"

    No, my statement about tax returns, did not only apply to Trump: your assertion average, in this post, is absolutely miserable; a big goose egg. Biden, of course, has released his tax returns. And no, you do not "know" that Biden received any "perks." But this matter with Hunter, is currently being investigated. The only charge I have heard spoken about thus far, relating to the President's son, is tax evasion. If you have actual proof, of what you think you know about Joe Biden, by all means, share it. But, of course, you have no such evidence.
