Was the January 6 riot/insurrection defensible?

It wasn't justified but it was always a possibility.

 

It was absolutely justified. I wish she would have survived, but the shooting was justified.

She was breaching the final barrier separating her from the lawmakers being protected. If this had happened in your home, you'd be absolutely justifying your security taking a shot like this.

 

It didn't change anything other than she lost her life. These things happen but authorities managed to control their urges all summer especially at the police station that was put under siege

 

So no violent force should be used against those breaking a barrier (after already breaking at least one) when they are a few feet from the person you are charged with protecting? I'm sorry, but no one is daft enough to buy that bull ****.

Apparently, you have a misunderstanding of how polls are run. The Trump supporters need only be polled-- they don't have to run the poll. And Fox News took the poll seriously enough to base an article on it:

Here's another Fox article, on a different poll, by Monmouth University, saying (during the J6 hearings) that 60% believe that Trump should testify. This was back in October, when Fox was still securely in trump's camp-- so this proves that you were also wrong, that no "people," take any of this seriously.

Trump was not elected by a popular vote and any poll that only reflects that pattern is going to be inaccurate when push comes to shove. I think we can always expect these polls to come out anti Trump but they will never show his actual political possibilities or the true depth of his public position.
