Call it what you want, it's still hypocrisy.

Thanks for confirming the "nobody is above the law" talking point was all a lie from the git go.

Can Hunter Biden ignore a subpoena?

You're saying you expect the Biden administration to act in a lawless manner and ignore lawful oversight requests from Congress? That's interesting.

Biden can pardon him for any crimes the right claims he committed

from any crime the right claims he committed - he can take the 5th and call it a day

    just like Republicans did

gone are the days of people like Hillary spending hours and hours answering questions in front of congress

you can thank Trump and Republicans for that

I simply won't be surprised if certain subpoena's are ignored, there not being any apparent downside to doing so.... All they have to do is run out the clock to 2025...

I think you’re wrong. I believe the precedent was set by Holder and Lynch.

Hypocrisy is expecting from others which you yourself do not adhere to — I previously expected some level of moral ethics from both republicans and democrats but since republicans have completely abandoned that it isn’t hypocrisy to expect democrats to play by the same rules

Maybe we are working off different definitions

In fact, it's much closer to hypocrisy expecting Democrats to continue playing by the rules previously abandoned by MAGA...

Congress has no explicit authority to issue subpoena under the constitution.

I think Biden should ignore it and let the courts decide on the constitutionality.

Oh, NOW Congress has no subpoena authority...LMAO!

Should Steve Bannon be let out of jail, immediately, then?

If course it is ridiculous that these two horses' asses are chomping at the bit so hard, that they are inundating the WH with requests, before they even have the authority to do so. I have a feeling that Biden will be generally cooperative, which is far more than many Republicans-- including Jordan-- were, regarding the J6 Committee subpoenas. If I were Biden, based on that precedent, I would not be likely to go testify for Comer's witch hunt; and if Jordan subpoenaed me, I would just laugh in his face.

That's a freaking technicality. and in acting in such a technicality the Biden WH has already shown the behavior that we can expect to see in its transparency situations. The same as the previous WH. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Did you support the trump administration for doing so? Or condemn them?

Trump just ignored a subpoena and the result was that it was withdrawn. Do you condemn him for ignoring it?

It's a major freaking technicality, and one the WH is safely allowed to utilize here...

Would you approve if Jamie Raskin (good luck there) issued requests NOW for documents Comer generates during his upcoming time as oversight chair, or would that be premature??

It's more properly called the fallacy of two wrongs make a right.

Yeah they were, but that's history now. I think it's time for President Joe to stonewall the GOP; turnabout is fair play.

Jordan's reputation and career in Congress is built on beligerance, defiance and rude behavior. I think it would be poetic justice for him to face his own methods as he tries to attack President Joe and his administration.
