Once again the OP shows us all a perfect example of the damage done to folks when Republicans win elections. The GOP takes the House and folks lose their jobs.

Republican votes have horrifying consequences to ALL Americans.

Seems like an excellent opportunity for Disney's shareholders to reflect on whether management has been acting in their best interests or whether management is under the mistaken impression that the company has an obligation to promote "social justice" and fund the effort on the shareholders' dime.

What regulations and laws have Republicans passed in the past month to cause all these job losses, Wally?

Doesn't blaming Biden adhere to such faulty logic.

The GOP winning the House was enough for Corporations to lay off employees. They know the damage they cause and they are preparing for the worst.

Once again, republican votes have terrible consequences to the American workforce.

In other words, you're trying to equate ByDummy assault on oil and gas, inflation and high fuel prices with some obvious and ridiculous comparison, very amusing :)

It's not Bidens fault that corporations don't trust the GOP to properly govern. Voting republican always comes with awful consequences for Americans.

They made hardly over 3 billion bucks in profit. So you know. You must cut 7.000 jobs who were working for scraps.

LOL, Disney is media and tourist-based company.. So, with high fuel prices and inflation people tend to find local entertainment, and when viewers don't like the BULLSHIT media/programming a company produces they CHANGE THE CHANNEL and don't go to the theater to watch their trash :)

Is this really that hard for you to extrapolate? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gov. DeSantis takes control of Disney's tax district

'Florida lawmakers voted Thursday to give Gov. Ron DeSantis new power over the state’s most iconic theme parks.'

'Under a fast-tracked bill the state would take over the Reedy Creek Improvement District, the 55-year-old government body that has effectively given Disney control over the land around its Orlando-area theme parks. The district’s existing board, made up of individuals with close ties to Disney, would be replaced by a five-member board hand-picked by DeSantis.'

“They still get their special little district with taxes that can pay for lavish roads and luxury projects. But they’re no longer pulling the strings.” And they keep their $1B debt.

That’s exactly the surface level thinking I have come to expect from most Dems.

Well lets be honest, the people working at Disney are blue haired feminist subversive malcontents. Bad things happening to them has been earned for what they have done to the entertainment industry over the past four years. Disney tanking is GOOD for America. We need them to learn a harsh lesson about capitalism (namely give the customer what they want or suffer the consequences). They need to get rid of Iger, he started the DIE madness and it won't end until he is gone.

Also you forgot to give DeSantis some credit for this, he did some serious damage to Disney in Florida. Please tell us about how evil and authoritarian DeSantis is for punishing Disney so harshly and in such a financially crippling way.

Tell that to the 7000 folks being laid off. I'm sure they'll take comfort in your words.

Again, Republican votes have terrible consequences for Americans.

You expect to me cry when bad things happen to my enemies? What these goons have done to Disney is an atrocity and a crime. They have earned this. The banality, the lack of creativity, the bigotry and the child grooming coming from Disney has consequences. This is just the beginning of the consequences. In capitalism, if you are unable to satisfy the customer, your company dies and that is a very very good thing. Something BETTER than you will replace you. I am EAGERLY looking forward to watching the something better.

Your fellow Americans are your enemies? I think you may have to consider getting your mind away from RW media, like Tucker etc.
