…there is currently no stronger candidate than Trump.

"With the situation that we're in right now, there is absolutely no candidate -- and I mean on either side -- there's no person on the planet, in my opinion, who can be a better president than Trump at this point," the political analyst submits.

His reason for saying so is that "DeSantis has not been attacked by every single agency, every single global entity in the world."

McGary believes that what the country needs is someone who has the experience to step in and "completely dismantle the deep state" on day one…

Trump has outlived his usefulness, too polarizing. Time for some new young leadership in the Republican Party.

LOL! I am sure no person in the whole history of the entire world, no, the entire universe, would be a better president than Trump.

Wait, we already tried that. What did we get? Empty promises of prosperity for all, followed by mediocre GDP growth bought by unheard of amounts of government debt. Why you want more of this, I am not sure.

We can’t let them dictate to us what they will tolerate from us before they throw a national temper tantrum. It’s like giving them undeserved veto power over our nominee.

I agree. However Trump hasn't been seen lately exhibiting the people skills to unite the party around him.

That is so funny. I can think of four people who would be far better at President than Trump ever would be.

No person on the planet would be a better president than Trump...

Drumpf who suggested he gets an extra 2 years in the White House for being treated unfairly? I'm sorry but do Americans REALLY love having whiners as their commander-in-chief?

My President is far from perfect, but he never whined about the opposition being mean to him.

But wait…I thought bringing up Trump meant TDS and that he’s living rent free in the persons head. Is that not the case now? Can someone go over the rules again? So hard to keep it all straight.

In trump's mind and in the minds of his supporters, sure.

Unfortunately, we all have to live in the real world, not in the imaginations of the swooning fans of a dumpster fire.

I want to know who has successfully charged someone rent for allowing them to live in their head. Knowing Trump and his branding, he's probably expecting a royalty payment every time you think of his name.

Will this be his next lawsuit?

Is this a serious post??!! Reality and history disagree with you.

They won't, they will miss the WWE 2.0 if they do. Family, if any are still "rooted" in reality, will have to step in. 10 years of deprogramming will be a minimum.

It's the double-standard that I can't stand. It can't be ok for one side to keep bringing up Trump and not ok for the other side.

You may believe that Trump was the best president ever, fine. But most Americans didn’t. Under Trump the Republicans lost the house in 2018, then lost the presidency and senate in 2020. In 2022, Trump choosing very poor-quality candidates, which many independents considered extreme and unqualified, lost a senate seat and 2 governorships in a year that should have resulted in a red wave. 3 losing elections in a row under who you think was the best president ever. Although Trump was an ex-president in 2022, he was still the leader and face of the Republican Party. Somehow the Democrats were able to make 2022 into a referendum on Trump instead of on Biden and company as all midterms had been, on the president and the party in power.

Republicans are going to vote Republican and Democrats will vote democratic. If Trump was the best president in history, why did independents, the non-affiliated, the less to non-partisan group vote overwhelmingly against Trump and his party in the last 3 elections? I don’t think it was Trump’s policies, independents were fairly even split on them, for some, against some. I think it was Trump himself, the man, the individual. Where Trump’s crude, obnoxious, at times uncouth persona overrode his policies. It was his childish antics like name calling, throwing of temper tantrums and his very unpresidential behavior. Independents, people in general expect whoever is president to uphold the dignity of the office of the president deserves, in their mind, Trump didn’t. The bottom line is even if someone likes the policies and stances on issues, but dislikes the man himself, history has shown folks, in this case independents, won’t vote for someone they dislike as a person. You can have bad presidents get reelected if most Americans like him as a person and good president get defeated if they don’t. Sounds weird and crazy, but true.

Trump won't heal or unite America, he won't get the chance as around 60% of all Americans have a negative or unfavorable view of him. The person, the man, the individual, they plain don't like him and the way he behaves and acts. I believe if Trump has the persona, the personality of a Reagan, a Bill Clinton or even an Obama, he'd have been reelected. He never will win any election his personality. He's too easy to dislike as a person.

Not only would he not heal America, he'd gladly rip it apart for his own personal lust for attention. He probably won't get a chance to do it to America, but he certainly has a chance to do it to the GOP. Looking at his opening salvos against DeSantis, he is just getting started making a mockery out of the GOP presidential primary. Nobody will be coming out smelling like roses when he is done with DeSantis and the GOP.
