    14hrs to charge @ 220v.
    You need 80 of them for 8,000kWh.

    I don't doubt that using electrical motorized systems in some spots would be doable, and perhaps even better than what we have, depending on the application, but the technology needs to advance *significantly* before I would expect heavy vehicles would be able to do the deed.
