You are far more likely to die in a vehicle accident than by a gun. Just think of this the next time you're on the highway. Every single vehicle that you meet in the oncoming lane can kill you and your entirely family in an instant if they so choose, and there is exactly jack squat you can do about it. If a truck driver is having a bad day, is suicidal, or just a murderous idiot, he can cross over that lane and end your existence in a fraction of a second in his legally owned truck with a drivers license that was issued to him legally and with training....

And that's not even mentioning anything about the hordes of people that drive every single day who thinks that doing things like making calls on their cell phone or fiddling with the radio or their makeup or any other number of tasks besides driving.... Are more important than simply paying attention to the road.

Once in awhile people nut up and intentionally use cars as a weapon but it doesn't change the fact that so many people think it's okay to drive distracted and their victims are just as dead as people who intentionally nut up behind the wheel

Somehow every single one of my guns just so happen to stay right where they are in my gun safe and haven't magically grown legs, walked out the door, and killed people. They must be defective....

I am not calling for disarming citizens. I am calling for common sense gun legislation — enhanced background checks, registration, licensing, and enhanced minimum sentencing guidelines for individuals that bring guns into restricted areas or use them in the commission of a crime.

Of the modern nations on earth today have any committed genocide against their population? And before you jump to the typical Germany / Hitler — Germany passed every struck gun laws to comply with the Versailles Treaty. They then relaxed them and banned only Jewish people from them.
