We get it, you don't like Biden.

Biden has had more legislative accomplishments than Trump did in his four years.

Biden got a bi-partian infrastructure bill passed, one that's on par with Eisenhower's highway project, got it passed in his first 100 days, and Trump paid lip service to it for four years and couldn't get it done.

The facts reveal that Biden is a competent president.

The Romans thought Claudius was a half-wit because of a speech impediment and some physical issues,

He wasn't. Claudius proved to be an intelligent, capable, and effective ruler. He was well-read, interested in history and law, and a capable administrator. He implemented significant legal and administrative reforms, expanded the empire, and was generally popular with the lower classes.

But, Republicans blind hatred of Biden, which is not based in facts, pure hatred, they'll twist something like a stutter into 'dementia'. They are disgusting. Apparently it seems that there is no stench riddled cesspool too rancid for them to swim in

I know what dementia is, I worked in a home for for the mentally disabled, which included dementia patients, and Biden does not have it.
Trump, he is a threat to democracy and national security, let alone being a conman, a criminal, a sex predator and being despicable human being, all around.

Oh, that. yes, I’m fully aware of that. You said six figures. I guess you thought to include pennies. It was in the $3,000 range. Six figures usually means in the $100,000 range. If you say, $3,000.09, that gives you six figures. Is that what you meant?

The tickets, alone, we're $35,000 each. That's $70,000 in just tickets.

But yeah, we know, it's ok when a Democrat does it...lol

It wasn’t tickets. It was a hotel room and a dress. $70k is not six figures, either way.

Hardly six figures as was the claim. She paid it all back, either way. She tried to get away with something. Got caught. Fixed it. How many politicians can say that? Most just laugh and pretend they are sorry, knowing most won’t delve any further. I resent being put in a position of defending AOC. I don’t like her. I also refuse to claim people did something they didn’t do.

The only reason she paid it back is because she was exposed. Imagine that.... Someone who claims to care about the working poor accepted gifts to go to a party for one evening that was twice my annual salary.

She talks the talk but she does not walk the walk. Kind of makes you wonder what else she has gotten away with and pocketed.

For a poor Latino bartender from the Bronx she sure got with the Washington program very quickly.

No one is telling you that you're required to defend her. It seems that you took that mantle upon yourself

I literally said she paid it back because she got caught. Lol

The claim is she took a six figure gift. It was a four figure gift. My style trends toward pointing out hypocrisy and gross exaggeration.

You never get upset when I correct someone when they exaggerate something Trump did. Why is that? I hate him too.

What's really important about this process, is you did NOT have Joe Biden leading crowds chanting 'Lock him up' for votes or campaign contributions or ushering veiled threats to the AG's office if it does not 'play ball'. Biden truly believes that leading the Justice Dept means appointing the top level AG and Assistant AG, , deciding budgets, setting the prosecutorial priorities, etc. It does NOT MEAN telling the Dept of Justice/FBI which specific enemies to target, and which allies not to. There should a chinese wall between elected executives ( presidents, governors, mayors) and law enforcement when it comes to specific cases. This principle was lost in the prior administration.

NOPE. $3,000 is a FAR cry from six figures. You grossly misrepresented the case. She paid the $3K back.

At the risk of repeating myself: I DO NOT LIKE HER, but her crime of trying to get away with a $3K gift is a nit on a pimple on the buttocks of Congressional misconduct.

And the tickets, that she got at no cost to her, we're $70,000.

She never paid for those tickets...

So, there's nothing wrong with Cortez receiving a $70,000 gift from a lobbyist?

Anna Wintour is British, runs a fashion magazine and is in no way a lobbyist in American politics. I dunno how I feel about it, honestly. In terms of DC corruption, anything less than six figures is chump change. Any given person with power in DC probably gets that all the time. Do you have an issue with Thomas getting far more than that in free trips?

NEW: New York federal court sets Friday deadline for Justice Dept and defense attorneys to respond to media request to unseal details about who provided Rep. George Santos's (R-NY) bail in federal criminal case earlier this month

'The answer to the question of who posted bail for Rep. Santos could be both very interesting and telling. If somebody within the Republican Party posted bail for Santos that would indicate that they are planning on doing nothing to get rid of the indicted congressman because they value his vote more than they value the House.

George Santos is currently facing 13 federal charges, including seven charges of wire fraud, three charges of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making false statements to the House of Representatives.
