    I would have thought you would be more upset about Scott DesJarlias. Cheated on his wife multiple times, including with a patient of his, and pressured one of his mistresses to get an abortion. Re-elected multiple times since. Or maybe you prefer David Byrd, re-elected with 78% of the vote after allegations emerged of him molesting multiple schoolgirls when he was coach. Not even a recording of him asking the woman for forgiveness and saying he had 'fessed up' to his family were enough to get him expelled from the Tennessee House.

    And now we have people defending a convicted sexual predator and a guy who is under arrest for, among other things, claiming welfare while he was in a highly paid job.

    That rise in approval is because the poll was with registered Rs, the only registered Rs are hard core MAGA now. Trump's strangling the party. Maybe you just learned something.

    He's from the New York City area, so I'm willing to believe he did those things.
    (3rd Congressional District in the New York City borough of Queens)
    Although I wouldn't put it completely beyond Democrats to have had him removed through dirty tricks or trumped up charges. (I've posted two stories before that showed examples of that)

    How many corrupt Democrats from around New York City are they not investigating?
    I suspect it's highly likely they targeted him for intense scrutiny because he was a Republican.
    If they put the same zeal into investigating other politicians, what would they find?

    In addition, wire fraud and Jack Smith could lead to federal RICO charges as well.
