I didn't. I responded to YOU with a UN declaration. And the UN declaration is not what this thread is about either. It's about RIGHTS that fascists are targeting.
I made a point, others are arguing against that point, and I am supporting my point in response to their argument. I dont consider that as "trying so hard", rather it is just business as usual in a political chat room. I am surprised that you apparently see this as unusual. I dont know exactly what you are talking about in regards to another thread, but if in fact you are referring to something I have said and not mistaking me for someone else ( which I suspect may be the case because I do not recall being in that conversation), I can assure that is following the same pattern because that is what I do. I present an argument and defend my position against people that disagree, except in the instance where someone else proves something contrary and I amend my position. Since you find this concept so perplexing, exactly what do you do in a political chat room if you dont do the same thing? I am sincerely interested in your response because I cannot fathom what would be the point in not defending ones position or beliefs.
Yes and you got it completely wrong. It is they coming for us because we refuse to play such insipid games and those ensnared in sin will never be able to tolerate those who refuse to join in the orgy.
Look how many people are getting in trouble or ostracized or called "transphobic" just for stating the obvious that there are only two genders. They're going to make you believe in their fantasy or else!
first one on the list.. notice the part about homosexuals. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
Even though it would be easy dismiss this post as the most bigoted comment in this thread, we must admit that it is also the most honest. This is EXACTLY why they come after the people mentioned in the OP. Because they DARE be gay, they DARE be black, they DARE be women.... All incarnations of sinful depravity always seeking to participate in lustful orgies. How dare they!
Let's say your right, Christians are supposed to be as Christ-like as possible, here's what Jesus had to say about homosexuals
That's not Jesus, that's a democrat politician from California. Here is something Jesus says- "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Mathew 5:18
How are they being punished? Did they strike down they emancipation proclamation? Did they out law gays? Did they take away a women's right to vote? Honestly I see non of your claims having any merit. Social Security? Obama care? Non Christians? Medicare? What rulings have they had that have you wetting your panties?
So you feel you can force a Muslim or Jewish chef to cook pork? They would only not be cooking pork for you on a religious belief.
Which is why Trump lowered taxes and abolished regulations, while Biden raised taxes and flooded us with new laws.
Why, because the SC said that discrimination based on race, sex, etc., is illegal? Why would that impact me, anyway?
that's not a right involving other private citizens. they have that right in terms of their interaction with the government. Like it or not, bigots can call them 'fairies' or other names and guess what-there's not a damn thing the government-nor they =can do about it. Good people can state that the bible condemns buggery. The government cannot punish consensual sodomy or lesbian sex. but private citizens can call it "sinful" or shun associating with homosexuals. Is that "right"-most likely not but it's not illegal
you have continually demonstrated that your understanding of constitutional rights is very different than most Americans and is not recognized by either our courts nor our legal scholars
Golem's claims concerning rights is foreign to anything I learned at that law school or my 24 years handling (among other things) civil rights in federal trial and appellate courts
Of course not, but it sure had a lot to say about its components. It would be a miracle if they mentioned "same sex marriage" before the concept even existed. Look your position is apparently that Christians do not ACTUALLY oppose gay marriage. My position is that your position is patently absurd. I am not sure how or why you think yourself qualified to tell Christians what their religion does or does not believe in regard to any topic. If they tell me their religion opposes same sex marriage...I believe them. I have no reason not to. At any rate, I am more than happy in the belief that I have adequately proven my point. I have no reason to keep going back and forth over the same ground over and over and over again. Let the reader decide for themselves.
