Again, christians are supposed to be as Christ-like as possible. What has christ said about homosexuals?
In a stunning 7-2 court decision, written by the newly Trump appointed justice, the Supreme Court struck down Social Security today! Vice-President DeSantis hailed the decision saying "Hey! These old people think that being old gives them the right to be free-loaders? No more Social Security checks for them! Let them find a job like everybody else!" Protests erupted all over the country. But no gays, women, non-whites or non-Christians participated. Only old people "because, " said one Hispanic former American, "old people didn't protest for us when the Supreme Court revoked the citizenship of all naturalized Americans... now it's their turn. Screw them!"
No. Because they said it's legal. Clearly you're not paying much attention to the events going on in the real world, are you? Read the OP
No idea what you're talking about but, to put an end to this absurd discussion once and for all, any constitutional rights that conflict with human rights have no place anywhere. I don't know of any but, just in case, human rights trump ANY local law or any nation's constitution.
Makes no difference. They're still rights. Jews had a right to freedom, life, work, private property, family... in Germany 1930s and early 40s. The fact that the government didn't enforce those rights doesn't mean they didn't have them. People went to prison for abridging them.
I told you early on that I am not religious even slightly and have no interest in getting into a scripture debate when I do not pretend to know, understand, nor certainly able to recite various scriptures. That is not my bag even slightly. You think you know better than various Christian sects how they interpret the scriptures. I get it. We get it. I happen to think that is absurd and falls flat of its own accord. I am bored with this conversation. My point has long since been made.
I suspect your definition of human rights are actually code words for government coercion and affirmative duties that others have to pay for. How do you codify or enforce what is essentially psychobabble feelings?
What puerile nonsense. You can be or do whatever crap you want, it is after all your funeral. I am neither your judge nor your jury nor your executioner. I am merely the poor dude tasked with warning you that the due recompense for your slavery to lust, licentiousness, and carnal pleasure will one day be at hand and I would rather that fate not befall any one but mercy is not in my hand either. Mine sir is not to pass judgement it is but to warn all those racing toward the abyss with reckless abandon to stop and turn back, to repent and turn away from the evil they pursue in their blind arrogance and to mourn them because most will not and those not will reward my act of love - and make no mistake the call to repentance is purest act of love any human being can offer another - with disdain and hatred. Further I know that lost as they are in the sin they so ardently pursue, my greatest affront will be my refusal join with them in their mad rush toward hell and damnation. After all, in this modern worldly and sadly all past worlds this planet has seen to the worldly the greatest offense is to look bad, and anyone who will not join with the worldly in their endless pursuit of one of its three cheif gods, money, power, and pleasure, has perforce no ability to do other than make them look bad.
Hah! That is hilarious. I say again and again that human rights exist regardless of what government does or fails to do and you are the one who keeps inserting the government and enforcement into the discussion... You know you're not good at this, don't you? By now, you should!
Only if you're gay, or black, or a woman, or a child who has been raped... But yeah... you are correct in that they are still in the text.
I wonder if they will ever come for the domestic enemies of the US Constitution? Probably not, they are in control of the government.
"It is important to check which words someone would prefer you to use." Okay, my adjectives are gentle, honest, and dangerous.
