He got one thing right, the DNC wasn't exactly warm and cuddly with JFK when he was alive. JFK was a moderate catholic, at a time when the Liberal movement was at its upswing. He represented the face of it, but his politics were different(had they went through the social security reforms proposed back then, perhaps our situation is better managed today.)

She's someone who shouldn't be in office, ever. What did the 1/6 commission accomplish? Nothing that the DOJ themselves couldn't. Now, the Republicans haven't actually done anything with the House, but that grandstanding while the Wyoming citizens were asking her to do ANYTHING in that state's local interest is still sickening and repulsive to me. If you run for office for your district's representation, the decent thing to do is to put your own personal vendetta aside and to work and vote on behalf of the state's interests.
RFK just wants better regulation of vaccines (and medicine in general). If that makes him 'anti vax', then everyone who wants better gun regulations is 'anti gun', everyone who wants better business regulations is 'anti business' and everyone who wants better food regulations is 'anti food'. Of course, that's never how the media portrays any of these ...except for vaccines. It couldn't be because of all the "Brought you by Pfizer!" funding in the media, could it?
I think he is the only serious candidate on either side. Biden is barely coherent anymore, and Trump is the most divisive man in politics today. We don't need either of them back in office.
I don't care what he is. I'm likely to switch my party affiliation to D so I can vote RFK in the primaries. If he wins, I'll officially and happily be a Democrat. If he doesn't make it to the general election, I'll be voting Trump.

I would prefer Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift...BUT I have to settle for who has a serious chance to get on the Nov. '24 Ballot...
I would take either one of those over Biden or Trump. It's amazing that the only ones who have a 'serious" chance at winning the Whitehouse are the ones that are the absolute worse choices. Shows how much power the people really have.
You can a candidate is probably just what this country needs when both the Republicans AND Democrats are desperate to discredit him. RFK is exactly what this country needs right now.
Good question. I've been looking for a video or transcript of the full exchange to get the necessary context to determine that, but no one will cover it. Can only find snippets that cut out context to obfuscate the point and make it look ridiculous. I did however find this: Covid-19 is still disproportionately affecting Black and brown communities, doctors warn | CNN So, CNN can talk about it, but not RFK...
He says certain vaccine adjuvants and preservatives that are used to decrease the cost of vaccine production can contribute to heavy metal poisoning and gut floracide which can increase risk of a host of ailments including autism. Our own illustrious govt agencies say the same thing: Exposure to heavy metals like aluminum and mercury can increase risk of autism- Association of autism with toxic metals: A systematic review of case-control studies - PubMed (nih.gov) Some vaccines contain heavy metals like aluminum and mercury as adjuvants, stabilizers and preservatives- Adjuvants and Vaccines | Vaccine Safety | CDC Also damage to the gut biome is suspected to contribute to autism. Role of the Gut Microbiome in Autism Spectrum Disorders - PubMed (nih.gov) Some chemicals added to some vaccines as adjuvants, stabilizers and preservatives are also known to damage and kill gut bacteria. Such as the Covid vaccine. Gastrointestinal Complications of COVID-19 Vaccines - PubMed (nih.gov) Apparently no one has a problem with any of the above suggestions, until one ties them together to suggest that this method of making vaccines cheaper also makes them more dangerous and increases risk of things like autism. The CDC and the NIH and every other institution with 'authority' will, of course, tell us that while all the above things are true, still 'vaccine additives don't contribute to autism' even after thimerosol was pulled from use in some childhood vaccines due to the suspicion that it was contributing to heavy metal poisoning in children (though it still exists in other vaccines that have since been rescheduled for children...). And they will cite the safety and efficacy from a multitude of studies that were funded by the companies that get rich selling vaccines. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: protecting the private good? | The BMJ Office of Inspector General: CDC Lax in Policing Advisors’ Conflicts of Interest | Ethics | JAMA | JAMA Network By 'regulate them better', I understand RFK wants to eliminate the financial conflicts of interest that incentivize regulatory agencies to prioritize the security of their funding sources over keeping us safe from the products they regulate. I imagine the only way to do this is to eliminate private donations (or at least make them far more transparent) and increase direct funding from public coffers. That funding would have to come from somewhere, and RFK has suggested that instead of sending cluster bombs to Ukraine, we ought to better fund our pharmaceutical regulators to make them less dependent on funding from the manufacturers they're supposed to be regulating. Sounds like a good idea to me.
You must fall on your knees and worship Bobbers Junior. He's a member of the HOLY KENNEDY FAMILY. And the only drug you should inject is HEROIN. You must buy it from him and his friends.
We usedta have a poster here whose sig was "I believe in Capitol punishment. Everyone in the Capitol must be punished." I'm not sure we have many congressmen even doing a fair job representing their constituents. Well, okay - but Liz is still a Republican regardless of what they think. What they did is just as crazy as people here saying RFK Jr. isn't a Dem - it's a denial of reality. Seriously - what do you think would happen if I stated Trump was not a Republican? The LW posters here would howl with laughter, and rightfully so. You guys gotta accept the fact that RFK Jr. is a Dem. Okay - and? The issue wasn't if RFK was a Conservative or Liberal Dem, just that he IS a Dem. Arnold Schwarzenegger comes to mind as a Liberal Republican, Joe Lieberman as a Conservative Democrat - at least when he was running with Gore in 2000.
