    We all knew these have been coming for months - and the Georgia DA was about to announce more indictments that parallel this case with
    election lies and interference.

    From what Sleepy Joe said in 2020, he would not even have run if it hadn't been for Trump running for reelection.

    The (R) party should have done the right thing when they had the chance, and really they had multiple chances along the way, including two fully justified impeachments.

    So part of the conspiracy seems to be trying to abuse his position of power to force VP Pence to violate his oath of
    office as President of the Senate even though Pence repeatedly told Trump that he did not have the Constitutional authority to do so.
    Hard to argue that didn't happen - and Pence is going to be on the witness stand telling the Jury that information.

    One amusing aspect of Trump's weird worshipers' falling for the Loser flailing his victim card to try to contrive a partisan political excuse is that the principles involved - Merrick Garland and Jack Smith - have never been Democrats, and most of the witnesses for the prosecution are Republicans - Trump appointees, even - and the impartial jury that hears the evidence will be subject to approval by both the defense and prosecution.

    For the Trump cult, it will be a media show, of course, not a fact-based adjudication in the admirable tradition of American jurisprudence.

    So, we now shall witness the appeal to the cerebral - objective, dispassionate empirical evidence vs fanatical, paranoidal dogma mired in intransigence focused upon the reptilian complex - an Apollonian vs Dionysian divertissement.

    Looks like Trump has been tied to the Fake Electors through Rudi and the other lawyers.
    If a couple of lawyers have flipped, Trump is going to be in deep crap.

    Proving that Trump actually pushed the Jan 6th riot at the Capitol will
    be difficult - but the Pence thing and the Fake Electors thing will be
    much easier.
